It definitely got warmer than they said it was gonna -- 61 F was supposed to be the high, but I wouldn't be surprised if it got, however briefly, up to 71 F. Cracked the windows for a while this afternoon to let in some fresh air. Supposed to go back to cooler and rainy tomorrow, so gotta enjoy it while we can!

As for the day's to-do list --

1. Clean my room and do my big laundry dump: Check! Was done with the full room clean (with a break for lunch) and at least part of my laundry by 2:30 PM, yay~ Actually completing my laundry took more of the day (two extra hours to be precise), but that was only to be expected. :P It’s all good for another couple of weeks!

2. Watch the Plumbella videos in my Watch Later, along with my YouTube Subs: Check! Perhaps a little later than I’d like thanks to the cleaning and whatnot, but I watched everything I wanted to watch –

A) Started with the Plumbella stuff I’ve collected this week:

I. Plumbella does the “no moving, only upgrading” challenge on the Tinker household in Evergreen Harbor in Eco Lifestyle, since she thinks that house is horrendous and has bad roofing. One of the first things she did? Make the wall height smaller, which of course deleted a bunch of the windows and doors. XD And then she got into trying to create fancy window designs on the front, redoing the roof to be flatter and more modern (and adding in skylights all over the place), updating the landscaping with smaller plants and flowers. . .oh, and halfway through she muted her mic to do a short voiceover bit, and forgot to UNMUTE it, so the voiceover bit ended up encompassing almost the whole of the rest of the video. But at least she made the house look like it fit in with its neighbors! Its shitty debug neighbors. . .yeah, I’m sorry, Jesse, I wasn’t impressed with this rebuild, it’s just not for me. I like some of the things you did with the windows, though.

II. Plumbella looks at the latest patch which brought bunk beds and loft beds! She was – disappointed. Yes, fine, the bunk beds work as advertised, but it didn’t take her long to discover that you can’t actually PUT things under a loft bed without breaking the Sim’s ability to use the loft (unless it’s a one-tile object RIGHT under the pillow). And she was not a fan of how you can recolor the bottom bed separately, because – well, because of course you have to recolor both the bedspread AND the frame in one go, and the contrast between lights and darks can be jarring. She didn’t want to say they’d half-assed it, but you could tell she was thinking it. Loudly. :p

III. Plumbella decides to recreate one of the debug buildings as an actual thing in game! Mostly because the debug shells EA uses to fill out their worlds can be better than their actual builds. XD She chose a little house with windows full of stuff in the front to recreate because it gave her Harry Potter vibes, and after some struggling with how to make the roof and said front windows (half-walls and careful placement of shelves ended up saving her there), she created a rather nice little library/cafe with a pond off the side! :) . . .The game promptly started crashing and glitching out the moment she tried to show it off! XD Not sure what the hell happened there, but she at least got to show us a little of how it all looked! Even if her internet suddenly went out the moment she tried to put it on the Gallery. Suspicious. . .makes you think she’s right to accuse the Sims Team of trying to sabotage her!

B) Then it was over to Call Me Kevin – and Solar Smash! Yes, my OTHER favorite chaotic YouTuber played the game where you destroy planets in a number of fun ways. XD Watching him do things like smash Ireland with a meteor, hit the Earth with the punching cosmic alien, turn Mars into a burger with the bisecting beam, send the space worm after his “gobstopper” planet, open up the machine planet with a bunch of moons, write his name on the Earth and then explode it with a bunch of souped-up rockets. . .ahh, it was good. Though it also made me realize just how hard Gray abuses the slow-mo when he plays it – a lot of Kevin’s stuff seemed to hit a lot faster! Also, there was a subplot about Kevin getting into these ads for a mafia game that had sound but no video – he kept trying to figure out what was going on. XD Just another day in the life of our favorite Irish YouTuber!

C) And finally, a trip to GrayStillPlays land, where we had more “Gray adds all the zeroes to Minecraft weapons!” Today was making the humble bow into a gravity gun, a la Half-Life – some chicken feathers and the appropriate amount of building material, and you could pick up and move around increasing numbers of blocks, rearranging the landscape at will or yeeting things into the sky. Gray spent a lot of time messing up villages, beating chickens to death against trees for more feathers, and making loonier and loonier versions of the bow on this way to the Ender Dragon. Though it took a little help from the TNT Wand to beat said dragon. . .him just picking up huge chunks of the towers in The End and moving them around without a care was AWESOME though. Dude knows how to mod this game up!

3. Play some Sims 4 (Newcrest Save, get the McFlys to Mt. Komorebi!): Check! Caught up with the McFly family early Tuesday morning, and after some basic need care (and I will give the Sims team this – they were TOTALLY right when they said that they’d speeded up stuff like eating and showering), I had Jennifer book them on a three-day stay in Mt. Komorebi! They’re up in the snowy mountain area, at 511 Kiyomatsu, and spent most of the day doing snow-related things – building snowpals at the house, going sledding on the bunny slopes, and – in Marty’s case – snowboarding on the easy slopes until he got hurt. Between that and having to shake the hell out of a vending machine TWICE, poor guy earned a muscle-relaxing soak! Jennifer collected her first Simmi, and the kids both met Yamachan and took some selfies with him and his statue. :) I also got them a couple more things to do around the house itself – an easel for Jennifer, a guitar for Marty, and a campfire for all of them. Not a bad first day on vacation. Next play session, I intend for them to head out on a hike – hopefully they’ll see some interesting sights!

4. Write some more on "Londerland Bloodlines": Check – Alice has successfully killed her first vampire – mostly via running away until she literally tripped over a tire iron, then using that to cave his skull in. She’s – not in a good mood. Especially since her opponent’s claws tore up her skirt, stockings, and one of her shoes. The Symbolic Destruction Of Her Human Outfit continues! And now, of course, we get into the disciplines part of the tutorial. . .well, after we take care of stealth kills. But I’m giving Alice a break there and letting her use Obfuscate for that!

Additionally:

-->Since it turned out to be a way nicer day than expected, the family and I played six rounds of the beanbag toss game! Mom won three and Dad won three, with me only managing to come in second twice. *grumbles* And I had some strong starts too. . .hopefully the next time I’ll be better!

-->So far so quiet on the Valice Multiverse front -- got a couple of asks, but otherwise. . . *shrug*

So yeah -- some slight frustration with how long it took me to get to my videos, and of course cleaning my room is never that fun, but overall a pretty good day. Gonna finish up answering my DW comments, then keep an eye on Valice Multiverse while wandering the web. Tomorrow's to-do list:

1. Free Writing Day -- write something of my choosing or organize a notes document

2. Watch the next part of "Marvel Meets The Eye" from Atop The Fourth Wall, Call Me Kevin, and Jon's Fallout 4 YOLO episode

3. Play some Alice: Madness Returns and at least get to the beginning of the Mysterious East

4. Get in a workout

Pretty typical Sunday stuff. Now, let's find entertainment for the evening! Night all!
