crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)
And no delay this morning to help me cope, sadly -- at least not for me. Most of the schools gave the kids an extra hour this morning. Which you think would have helped the traffic this morning more, but... *shrug* Anyway, here's the sum-up of my day --

Work – Busy Monday back today – I had a reasonably-hefty GL to complete this morning; I had a number of credit card calls to field throughout the day; I had to help one lady figure out why she wasn’t getting the free paper (she’d canceled it and forgot); I had to send out a tax letter to another lady (and, thanks to printer fun, it took me four tries to print it properly); and I had to look at the latest set of exceptions from our processors (a couple of notes, a couple of deceased people, a few credit card fails). I didn’t even get a chance to properly look at the failed credit cards or do anything about the credit card bullshit I found last week! *sigh* Well, tomorrow is another day...we’ll see what happens!

To-Do List

1. Get in a workout: Check – another night on the bike, checking out the latest GrayStillPlays compilation – “100 Dangerous Superpowers!” A collection of games that revolve around Gray playing superpowered characters that are a bit – off. XD Started off with the puzzle game Super Hero League 2 (which featured people like Super Spy, who shoots people with bazookas, and Super Eraser, who can LITERALLY ERASE ANYTHING), then moved through a runner game where you had to cause a guy to Discount-Hulk out and then return to normal to get through obstacles like brick walls, glass walkways, and sooo many police cars. XD I left off near the beginning of another runner game, where you must collect various pre-chosen elements to turn your guy (or shark dude, or Thanos) into an elemental powerhouse to beat a boss at the end, with Gray discovering that John Wick was a skin choice you could unlock. XD Looking forward to seeing the rest of this tomorrow!

2. Continue working on “Londerland Bloodlines: Dowtown Queensland”: Check – having gotten past the scene break that we left off on last week, Alice is now officially sick of killing zombies. XD I mean, the poor woman’s had to slay twenty of them off-screen! With one gun and a knife on a plank! I’d be sick of it too! She’s also confused as to how there are even that many zombies in the building (Cheshire pointing out that at least a few members of the Brotherhood seem dedicated to making joining up seem attractive, the better to lure people into a sickly embrace), and why certain routes are blocked off with what feels like random scrap (Caterpillar advised her not to waste her brainpower thinking about that one). I left off with her getting ready to tackle a few more possibly-undead as she found her way into a hall she hadn’t been able to access before through one of the identical bedrooms – don’t worry, Alice, you’re actually almost at the end of your journey! Though, uh, you’re not going to like the boss fight that’s on the way...

3. Keep up with YouTube Subs: Check – just the one GrayStillPlays video today, “Gwagon vs impossible precision in GTA 5!” This was a whole course full of thumbnail holes (though Alex and his minions were nice enough to put checkpoints between each one, meaning as long as Gray stuck with the same car, he didn’t have to go back to the beginning), with Gray having to find the right boxy and ridiculous vehicle that could make it through them all! “Them all” including a pair of Minecraft-themed thumbnail holes (between ax blades and sword blades); a thumbnail hole covered in plywood that he had to bust through after riding a tightrope of G-Wagon-style vehicles (if Gray even could – at least one car proved to be too wide); a “leap into the center of this weebmill going backwards and forwards” thumbnail hole (though fortunately there was a teleporter inside, so Gray didn’t have to stick the landing); a trio of LEGO-themed wall ride thumbnail holes (with each hole decreasing in size thanks to the studs within); and a “train crash” thumbnail hole (where Gray had to ride the train, leap through the carriages of ANOTHER train suspended in an arc above it, then get back on the train so he could leap again through the win). Pretty precision stuff – meaning Gray, who has no patience and no skill by his own admission, had a LOT of trouble actually getting to the end. XD Most of the cars couldn’t even get past the Minecraft stuff! Only two cars made it as far as the LEGO-themed wall rides, in fact – an all-black car with heavily tinted windows and an “OUTLAW” license plate, and a weird purple extra-flat truck with an extra bouncy suspension. And of those, only the truck made it through all three holes to take on the train! I would have never thought that car would be good at thumbnail holes or wall riding. *shakehead* That’s why you test these things!

4. Get my tumblr queues sorted: Substitution Check – rather than trying to direct some of my limited energy tonight into Victor Luvs Alice (N Smiler), I instead took the time to finally answer Moose’s messages, hooray! As well as leaving a comment on Gigs’s latest post and answering two comment replies on AO3 and one PM on FF.net. So my inboxes everywhere are clear, yaaaay~

*nods* And now it is time for me to head to bed, for I am le tired. *sigh* Hopefully Tuesday goes okay, and I can continue making progress on stuff. Night all!
