Shipping Thoughts

Not that kind of shipping -- relationshipping, ie what characters you want to see get together in your fandoms. The slight reintroduction of Gil and Lars stating his feelings for Agatha a bit more explicitly in today's Girl Genius and martyfan mentioning a lousy review she got for a Harry Potter story she's writing that mentioned "HERMIONE ADN HARRY FOREVER!@!!" (verbatim) got me thinking about shipping again. So in case you're wondering, here's my ships, for my top five fandoms (as explained in this quiz):
Back To The Future
Marty/Jennifer (duh, canon, plus people rarely mess with it)
George/Lorraine (see above)
Doc/Clara (canon, and I don't hate Clara! I just hate that she slaps him)
Doc/OC (specifically, Mysteria, Josephine, and Gypsy)
Jules/Marlene (Yes, Jules Brown and Marlene McFly, preferably in a timebending situation that brings them together at about the same age. I like linking the McFlys and Browns)
Lester/Babs (Aka Wallet Guy and Lorraine's friend. Blame shandy789 for this one, his Scaretatics sequel inspired me)
Spider-Man
Peter/MJ (well, duh)
Otto/Rosie (for the movies, and they're cute together!)
Otto/Mary-Alice (for the comic books -- he tried to CURE AIDS for her)
Harry/Liz (for anonymoose_au
Otto/May (just for laughs, and strictly comic canon)
Harry Potter
Ron/Hermione (IT'S CANON, GET OVER IT YOU VOCAL H/HR NUTS, IT'S CALLED AU)
xNeville/Ginnyx (dead ship -- I liked this before, but I have a new Neville ship now)
Neville/Luna (come on, they're perfect! :p Besides, JK said they could become friends at least, and there's lots of hints of at least that sort of relationship in HBP)
Remus/Tonks (Now THAT'S love)
You may notice no Harry -- truth be told, I don't really care about Harry's ship. It'll be nice if he gets to have a happy life with Ginny, but no worries for me.
X-Men
Kurt/Ororo (come on, they were flirting in the movie, admit it)
Scott/Jean (canon, and it's almost inevitable that they marry)
Logan/Jean (from what I've seen and read, though, these two apparently have the better chemistry)
Bobby/Marie (Movie Versions, that is -- they get along so well as teenagers. ComicRogue can have Gambit)
Eric/Raven (aka Magneto/Mystique -- they have some chemistry)
Girl Genius
Agatha/Gilgamesh (he's in love, and she does seem to have some feelings for him)
Agatha/Lars (argh, Lars, stop being loveable -- but they get along well)

And yeah, that's my list.

Not like I couldn't, as I write MOSTLY AU including those ships. Besides, there's a small sliver of canon evidence for it -- the Bobs did originally intend to make only one movie.
-VD: *grin* That's true, though you like to ignore the ending to the first one.-

Kid, you're a supergenius, the muse of someone who absolutely adores you, and living with your best friends and fellow mad scientists. How is that not living well?

Yeah, a little -- also typing up "Teen Doc." Still gotta think of a better title for that.
-E: Well, you said it's about the worst day of Emmett's life, and about Marty getting stranded in the past -- "Murphy's Law?"-
Hmmm. I could work with that.

-H: *hairruffle* That's our girl.-
Two last things before I go -- OckDoc will be back here on Friday -- gigs_83 will be sending him home either Wednesday or Thursday, and I plan to give him a comp day or two. I've also finally gotten up the first chapter of "Back To The Future Part III 1/2" on my website.
