crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

Yes, folks, I actually had a somewhat crappy Friday. I arrived at work to see the other girls chilling, so I figure, it'll be a slow day.
Like hell.
The first hour and last hour of my shift were crazy. The middle two hours were okay, but the last hour -- man! People constantly coming in the front, some woman with a hugeass order (and another one to pick up), and a line of clothes in the back with a bunch of multi-bag orders and NOWHERE TO PUT THEM. *sigh* My last hour stretched into a little over an hour and a half. I was frustrated and hungry when I got home. At least I got my check.
-M: Yeah, that's good.-
Yeah. Although after I deposited it, I had to put up with listening to Mom play with my cousin Fiona. I know, minor thing, but -- well, they always tell me she reminds them of me at that age, and sometimes, if I'm already stressed out and stuff, I have to think, "And how in God's name did you EVER put up with me?"
-VD: She is rather loud.-
-VD2: Yes, I noticed that too -- do all little kids scream that much?-
I think so, yeah. Maybe it's some sort of evolution thing.
-OD: Would explain why the tentacles are never that loud.-
-D: Oh joy, the things to look forward to in fatherhood.-
Hush, you know you'd love it.
-VD: With earplugs.-
:p

As you probably guessed by my "Backie Day" journal entry, I didn't play Sims until late. Naturally, I played Hill Valley -- the McFly family. First order of business was to ReNuYu everbody and keep the others occupied. George and Lorraine are now solid two-bolters, as are Marty and Jennifer.
-Martys+Jennifers: *hug and snuggle*-
They ended up having a skilling morning -- George painting, Lorraine practicing yoga, Linda practicing Charisma, Dave playing chess, and Marty playing guitar.

After a breakfast of burnt pancakes and the coming of morning, Marty gave Seamus a ring to try and best friend him -- didn't work -- and then sat down to study some mechanical as the girls went to work. Incidentally, Lorraine ended up becoming fit after breakfast -- oddness.

George maxed his Creativity while Dave worked on Charisma and Logic.

As George went to do his business in the bathroom, Marty called Jennifer for a date and took the new family car (which I realize won't fit in the McFly garage -- not enough room for the driveway!) out to HVHS.

-M: We went to the SCHOOL on a date?-
-J: Doesn't seem very romantic.-
Heh, you forget, it isn't a school in Sims. And you guys actually barely went inside -- you seemed content to be outside with each other. Marty led off with a dirty joke, then they got to talking about fashion.

Then Marty gave his lady love a nice backrub and led her in a slow dance.

-J: Ooh La La-
-M: *beam*-
Since I don't have any real restaurants just yet, I had Marty grill up some hotdogs for them to eat.

-AJ: Hey, nothing wrong with a cookout date.-
-VuM: I make good hotdogs.-
Yes, but they apparently sent Jennifer into a panic. I had Marty use the bathroom -- and Jennifer decided to start excercising in the gym. O.o

-J2: Huh?-
-VJ: I don't think we're gonna get fat off one hotdog.-
You just gravitated toward the gym -- Marty joined you for a bit at my command, but he wanted to go play the instruments.

But he had time for some cuddling and kissing too. The date ended in the "great" zone -- not bad.

-M2: Not bad at all. Too bad we couldn't make Dream Date.-
Well, without a proper restaurant to fulfill the "Dine Out" want. . . . Marty stuck around for a bit to sing karoke.

-J: *giggle*-
-M: *blush* It's karoke!-
-VM: Can I assume our future house will have one of those?-
Why not? And a silly pic featuring my idiocy with the DJ booth -- the poor DJ couldn't get in because it was too close to the wall apparently.

Oopsie. ^^;
And finally, some familiar faces showed up as Marty left the lot. Buford Tannen showed up to excercise, and teenage Jules was taking a walk around.

Marty arrived home, ate, funned, and caught a quick nap. George sold his maxed creativity painting for 591 simoleons -- a masterpiece, good job George. I had him work on some body skill before letting him have a nap too.

Jennifer stopped by to leave the "Great Date" rose -- I put it in Marty's room right next to his guitar.

-VM: *grin* Good place for it.-
The girls came home -- Lorraine with Milton AGAIN, Linda with a promotion to Party DJ. Everyone ate and stuff, and Marty called Seamus again -- THIS time they got best-friend status. Dave also chatted up the Gypsy Matchmaker -- I may have her call up a date for him. Gotta be careful though, as he has a lot of "relatives" in town.

-Martys: Gah, ew.-
Yeah, I know. Maybe I'll just have him buy a bottle of Love Potion and leave it at that.
Then it was time for bed -- and I finally got a heartsbubble:

-J: Now that's nice.-
Yeah, and no weird Doc/Lorraine connection to muck it up.
-M: Yeah, I know!-
-D: Thank God for that.-

-OD: Care to draw some fanart for our upcoming birthday?-
Feel these fingers! I can't draw with frozen fingers!
-DW: You can type with them.-
Badly. Ugh, I hate being cold.
-TD: You're not the only one. *shivers*-
Awwww *gives him blanket*
-E: I don't think I like Rhode Island.-
Join the club.
-OD: Come on, I'm sure you can unthaw enough for one picture.-
I was thinking of drawing you me jumping out of a birthday cake.
-OD: . . . Here, have some ice cubes.-
*laughs*
