Hooray For Sparks

crossover_chickWe were supposed to go to the movies today, but my Mom and Dad had computer troubles, so we're going tomorrow instead. So I decided to do my Sims playing today so I wouldn't miss a day. :) As suggested by my title, I played the Sparks household. They're still living in their pen, though now that they've gotten to Sophomore Semester 2, they have some money and may have actual walls by their Junior year.
They're not that unhappy in the pen (though they annoyingly have to leave their books on the other side of the half-wall). They eat lots of gelatin, do their assignments, earn skills, and act like college students.
In fact, there were only two real problems -- lack of fun stuff, and lack of a shower. I could have them play together or with friends and read to take care of the fun problem.
The shower though -- a bit more difficult. I ried to have them wash their hands a lot, but in the end, both Agatha and Gil resorted to sponge baths.
Luckily I'd remembered to give them a crop of money trees -- a few harvests, and they had enough for the cheap shower.
They also got an Energizer thanks to Agatha -- that thing should come in mighty handy.
Other than that, it was the usual stuff at college. Both Agatha and Gil pulled out A+s again, which means they got nice healthy grants from La Fiesta Tech. I'm saving up some money for proper walls, but I did buy them some new stuff -- an easel, a telescope, and a couple of lamps, as well as a new money tree. I left Agatha freestyling for tips -- it raises fun and it's a good way to get a few bucks.
-OD: Come on, draw. Please. I'm begging you.-
-VD2: Yes, go on, draw tomorrow.-
The scene is written already, you're out of the danger zone.
-VD2: I saw your notes, and no, my other self is not out of the danger zone.-
Well, almost out of the danger zone. I promise, no more naughty jokes after Doc-2 discovers his lack of pants. I'm saving them for "Personal Belongings," if I ever get a proper plot for that. *glares at half-formed bunny* Solidify, you!
-TD: You get me in Victorian underwear very soon in "Boy Genius." What more do you want?!-

-H: You can't argue her point there.-
-TD: You are not helping.-
She's the kind of person who would willingly date a Jager, and you expect her to help?
-H: *giggle*-
-TD: . . . I concede the point.-
Anyway, OckDoc, I will find time to draw tomorrow, even if it's just more sketchiness. I'm also going to do my best to put up the final chapters to your story.
-OD: *tentacles squeal happily* It's finished?-
It's finished. The first one anyway.
-OD: *beam* Great! How many pages in the end?-
80, with 43,938 words. Once I get all the trivia and injokes, it should be ready for direct transfer to my webpage.
-D: Lucky, she's really dragging her feet with "Reality Check 2."-
Sorry, although you shouldn't complain too much.
-M: We aren't. But we do want to see use getting revenge on Jack.-
Fair enough -- the entire thing should be betaed soon, and I can start sending out "Teen Doc" and working on some more edits. And more NaNoWriMo, of course.
