Wreck The Malls This Holiday Season
Dec. 23rd, 2005 10:29 pm4) Let Emmett Von Braun host a little Holiday bash on December 24th. I'll be doing that tomorrow.
Yay, I have a group picture of the boys now! Sorry about the miscolor incident though, OckDoc.
-OD: It's fine. The picture's great. *tentacles nodnod and hug me*-
-D: Yes, it looks wonderful. And it's nice to have a group picture.-
-VD2: *grin* I like my wings.-
I do too. It's actually not as hard as I thought to draw proper bat wings. And I'm very pleased with DocWolf.
-DW: I am too. See, you do have artistic talent.-
Eh, not much. But I'm glad you all like.
Hill Valley Sims today -- played the Tannen household. No Christmas for them, just your average day. Jiff has lost his "fat" status -- he gets fun from working out, so I had him run on the treadmill a lot.

Biff had the day off -- I had him fulfill some needs while Jiff headed to school, then had him invite his coworker Komei Tellerman over. After being greeted, Komei walked off with an evil grin. . . .

And proceeded to steal Biff's lawn gnome right in front of him! Biff was understandably upset.

-M: I think he'd be happy, his lawn is hideous.-
LoL, it's supposed to be that way. Biff argued with Komei, then got him back with a water balloon (which I admit I did just to get more weeds).

For some reason, this made Komei like Biff more, and by the time Jiff came home and I sent Komei away, they were pretty damn close to being friends. O.o WTF?
-VD: This is BIFF we're talking about. This is probably the only person he'll ever get along with. Either that or Komei's his boss.-
*snork* Maybe.

Biff and Jiff had lunch meat sandwiches later -- Jiff has to eat in front of a stinky plate. Biff's not the neatest guy, of course. Jiff kinda makes up for it.

Biff later tutored Jiff in how to be grouchy. I was stunned to find that this knocked a nice point off Jiff's score right away. I guess Biff has a special touch when it comes to evil.
-VD: You can say that again.-

Jiff then called Ricky and worked out while Biff painted. I had them go to bed at around 10. Waited for a while, but Biff never went to steal his gnome back. Ah well.

I also did a little work on the Pleasure Paradise. I did up one room -- big screen TV, bar, personal karoke machine, aracade games, and stuff -- decorated the lobby, and added stairs to the front.

Merry Christmas, buttheads. :p

The Battle Cry meme that's going around:
-MDC: I like it.-
-M: Um -- anyone else getting the urge to cross their legs?-
LoL -- though I was hoping for a sword.
And this one I've seen on a couple of LJs -- I've been feeling kinda pissy -- long story short, work ended up getting ultrabusy with idiots who all wanted rushes in the afternoon (we stop same day around 10 A.M., and we're closing early Saturday) AND with all our clothes in the back getting done at the same time -- basically the place turned into a bit of a madhouse shortly before I left -- and somebody on devART decided to give me the spiel on "Jesus is the reason for the season, God loves you blah blah blah" when I posted a journal entry on "Happy Diverse Holidays" and mentioned that I celebrate purely the gift-giving part of Christmas. Irony bites me in the ass -- I was inspired to draw that picture after reading about idiots complaining about the "Happy Holidays" greetings and the "War on Christmas"!! Look, if you're a Christian who celebrates all parts of Christmas, great, fine -- enjoy Midnight Mass, celebrate baby Jesus, sing religous carols, basically have a religious blast. But please respect that, to me, Christmas means getting and giving presents to my family and doing fun stuff together. We've never cared about the religious aspects behind it all.
. . . Okay, not exactly long story short, but you get the idea. Anyway, meme.
The Wish List Meme
* Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of ten holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Jenny/Giles icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is to make sure that these wishes are things you really, truly want.
* If you wish for real-world things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
* Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two:
* Surf around your friends list (or friends’ friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
* If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use -- or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free -- do it.
You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out; it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf and to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not -- it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish - and it might come true. Give - and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
I know it says ten, but I can only think of three that I really want (all my real-world stuff is being provided by the parents -- I know this because Mom needed help finding the shop :p):
-->A Mad-Scientist Doc icon for my final space, perhaps with the words "Feeling Sparky" on it. I haven't found one to my liking yet.
-->Fan Art. I'd actually really like to see someone draw a pic on one of my stories, or of the muses.
-->For all my friends to have the best holiday possible. :)
BTW,
Tomorrow's Christmas Eve! :D I'll be sure to link to the
