Not too much new badfic at
deleterius
Mar. 14th, 2006 10:07 pm-D: Thank God!-
-VD: Yesterday was bad enough.-
*patpats her muses* There there, it's all better now. . . .
-TD: How about posting some of your fic to make us feel even better?-
I'm working on final edits -- I should get Josie's chapter of "Liquid Chocolate" up soon.
-D: You still need to finish Gypsy's chapter.-
I know, I know! But I've hit one of those stupid mental blocks. *grr*
-DW: *chews on mental block for me*-
-VD2: As long as Josie's chapter goes up.-
Well, I gave you a nice full page of "Dusky Past" too. I'm also wondering how to sketch out more Puppet Pals.
-D: How about you do the girls as Puppet Pals? After Marty and Jennifer of course.-
-OD: And Biff.-
You guys really like the Puppet Pals idea all of a sudden. . .
-OD: They're easy to draw, so you can draw more of them.-
-DW: And any weird plot bunnies actually seem funny when done by puppets.-
Heh, true.
Since I've been reading a lot about Harry Potter lately, I figured it was about time I visited the Weasleys again. They're doing pretty well, all getting along.

George held his very first toga party for the Greek House. They don't have a lot of friends yet (I've been trying to keep their grades up) so I invited over the pledge Mitch and his professor, Ted.

Despite their poor situation, the Party actually made Good Time. George pillow-fought with Mitch while Percy chatted up Prof. Ted. Fred had gone to class beforehand with low needs and had to spend most of the party getting them back up

Fred did end up providing some musical entertainment. He also Influenced Pledge Mitch into doing his assignment (which was nice, since Pledges don't use up your influence points).

George beats him, though -- he influenced his own PROFESSOR into doing his homework. Go George.

Percy? In the bath.

All in all, everyone had lots of fun -- even Percy -- and George got a great party memory.

In fact, his mood got good enough to use the Energizer, hooray.

His energized mood saved him AND his twin from substandard grades. You see, Fred had to work out to get one last Body point for class, and was in too bad a mood to do his assignments, so he had George do one for him. (BTW, I had him work out to the Shopping Music -- and Jesus, it's WEIRD to hear the Sims 1 music again!)

It all paid off -- they were all in platinum when they finished their Sophomore finals. Now they're Juniors, and Fred and George are now Pleasure Sims. :)

Percy, who was set for skills, went to have some fun and got the cheerleader cheering at him, while the twins did some studying. (I know -- twins? Studying? The horror)

Percy then started his term paper. And yes, that IS a typewriter he's working on --
anonymoose_au designed it for families that shouldn't have computers. Turns out it's a lot cheaper (100 simoleons) than the computer, so now the Weasleys can do term papers! No more struggling to make up grades with assignments!

I left them happily studying and taking calls from friends and acquaintances. Now that I have the typewriter, I can probably spend a little more time friend-making. Doesn't seem right for Fred and George to be out of the social loop at least.

I've also finalized my business ideas for my game.
-OD: Do tell.-

-VuM: When do Mom and Dad start a bakery?-
Well, I was thinking, they've got his huge house, and the kids have moved out. . . . And they're both very good cooks. . . .
-D: Interesting how you stick almost entirely to purely retail settings.-
*shrug* It's what I'm used to. Maybe later I'll design a restaurant or another club.
And now, bed. Or, writing up some Sim info, then bed.
