SQUEEEEEEEEE
Apr. 4th, 2006 09:33 pm-DW: *paws over ears* Owwwwwwwww-
-VD: *hands over ears* I sympathesize.-
-VD2: *hands over ears* What's the occasion for bursting our eardrums?-
I KNEW it was coming today! I just kept getting this feeling!
-TD: Your new Girl Genius!-
BINGO! *dances her new comic book collection around the room* I read the part that was issue 13, so I'm finally, FINALLY all caught up! Yay!
-D: So all you need now is Collection 2, right? Round out the complete collection series?-
Bingo -- and get my hands on those two missing pages. :) I should be able to fetch that this summer.
-TD: *grin* So more help with the circus scenes, eh?-
Yeah -- got an intro to some of the other characters (including another cutie :D), a look at smashed!Silverodon, and other neat stuff. I should be able to make it better now.
-TD: Spoken like a true Spark.-
Nah -- if I was speaking like a true Spark, I would mention death rays.
-H: That is true.-
-DW: I thought you were reading Freefall all afternoon.-
Alternating. Which resulted in some "Werewolf!Gil" thoughts.
-DW: *deadpan* I noticed.-
-OD: The kids are curious -- do you plan to work time travel into "Boy Genius?"-
Not sure how -- unless Emmett ends up helping with the time window technology.
-TD: I could do that.-
Heh, yeah, I know. I AM going to make a steampunky version of the DeLorean, though.
-OD: I suppose that'll do.-
Besides squeeing over GG and reading about anthros, I got in some Sims playing -- visiting the Strangetown Brown/McFlys. They had a reasonably good Wednesday, although George burned a vacation day because of the reset. I had everyone socialize and use the bathroom, then started on fun and skill-building.

Breakfast time rolled around -- Lorraine cooked up omlettes. I just wish she'd used the counter as opposed to the table to set down the platter.

Morning came, and with it, the robot crafting bench! Since my other Sims were occupied, my Knowledge sims got to do the "What's This?"

Doc, still unemployed, promptly got to work making robots.

-D: Sounds like me.-
Heh, yeah. SimDoc actually spent most of the day making various toy robots (I called them Gilbots -- yes, Girl Genius on the brain).
I had the kids fun up before school -- while Marty slaved away on a painting, I had Eileen smustle. George and Lorraine spontaneously joined her.

I don't know how Doc was able to keep his mind on robots and not on the hilarity dancing mere feet from him.

Eileen eventually had to go to school, but Lorraine and George continued to smustle for a while:

Then I decided to make things more physical. First, a pleasant sit down on the couch -- Lorraine seems intimidated by George's skill mastery (or maybe his hygiene is low).

Oh! Nope, just preparing for the attack. I had to try this -- I've never personally done this with my Sims.

Doc? Still making robots.

Though he finds the time to wander in while Lorriane and George--

-VD: You must die now.-
Oh, he didn't see anything! Besides, it was the end -- I was waiting for them to finish so he could get some sleep.
-VD2: *headdesk* Even so.-
-M: Ugh!-
Anyway, adults slept a good amount of the early afternoon away. Eileen came home with a friend, Addison. They got along well, but attraction was a no-go, damn it. Though I suppose I can see why -- what is it with Maxis and smashed-in noses?

Doc fixed up a broken robot he had made, then set about making a new green version while Marty and Eileen jammed together. Marty finished his painting, but still not a masterpiece! *growl and stuff*

Doc eventually got his bronze robotics badge, and he and Lorraine headed for bed while George headed for work. Marty napped, but got up to call Jennifer for a sneak-out and to do his homework. Poor Marty, I'm having a hard time keeping up with his wants (and his friends).

Marty's sneakout was successful though, so he's back in the green. Only thing for it now is for him to get his scholarships and go to college -- 2 days left, so he has to go next time I play.
-VuM: Finally! Jennifer follows soon, right?-
Yup, and J.C. too. And maybe Ripp, just in case.
-D: *mock horror* You're actually not thinking of having an adult J.C. seduce me? Who are you again?-
*giggle* Well, I do have to test the attraction levels. . . . .
Time to do fanficcy stuff! Working on "BTTX-2," will be doing "V.D." edits as well. I'm also working on "Dusky Past," despite my Girl Genius thoughts. Wait until tomorrow, Vic -- fresh update on current storyline as well! *grin grin*
-DW: Now all you need is space on your bookshelf for the collections.-
Hmmm, true.
Oh, and quizzes taken from
martyfan:
w00t Lupin, though I agree with Ael -- I didn't quite like movie!Lupin. Shave that mustache!
*giggles* Eh, Snape/Dumbledor can't compare with what I'm really reading -- Rose Potter Spork. Visit HMS STFU, they're into Order of the Phoenix!
-VD: *hands over ears* I sympathesize.-
