*Saves Herself Some Possible Wrath*
Apr. 26th, 2006 10:23 pm-VD: Pardon?-
Sims interfering some with my writing. To save myself a lecture, I have reuploaded the new version of An Extremely Crowded Mind.
-D: Good thinking. Though you really haven't been slacking off that badly. Your written work appears to be going quite well, at any rate.-
Yeah, I hit a good patch there with "Dusky Past." And "Boy Genius" is getting some BTTF-ish moments before delving back into the Girl Genius plotline, so that's nice too.
-TD: Oh, are we up your version of that scene with Clara, myself, and her telescope?-
Almost -- I've decided to add in your banging your head on a toilet for the flux capacitor idea as well.
-M: *puzzled* I thought you said you weren't going to use time travel in this story?-
Well, the Girl Genius universe does have time WINDOWS. . . . Perhaps I could wrap it into that.
-TD: Sure! I give my designs to Agatha, she figures out how to create the time windows, we verify that those work, and then I start on my steampunk DeLorean!-
Precisely! Then we have the arc with Jennifer! *high-fives TeenDoc*
-DW: . . . I'm not sure whether to be more frightened of your cooperation, or by these new plot bunnies spawned by Sabrina Online.-
Scared of Zig-Zag?
-DW: You could say that, yes.-
-VD2: Furry thoughts still strong, I see.-
Yeah, I know. I like thinking of you as a fuzzbaby. You make a very handsome wolf.
-OD: *deadpan* We're flattered.-
Hey, I inked in two and 2/3s of my second set of BTTF Puppet Pals, so pretend to be happy.
-VuM: 2/3s?-
I'm having trouble with George's head. His hairstyle is rather hard to draw. Not entirely happy with Lorraine's either, but it'll have to do.
In Sims news, I played a rather quiet session with the Weasley's today. The major event of the day was the purchase of the bubble blowing machine -- I believe it was
martyfan who came up with the nickname "bubble bong." Thanks Ael, now I can't remember the actual name.
Ah well, Fred and George certainly liked it.

Being Pleasure Sims, I'm sure they'll soon be addicted to the darn thing. Hell, even Percy likes it -- I had him sneak out to use it while the twins were actually being rather studious.

Actually, there were two major events -- the purchase of the bubble blower, and Percy setting the toaster oven on fire making a grilled cheese. In an unprecendented move, however, Percy actually reached in and grabbed the sandwich from the flaming toaster oven!

Methinks he hit the bubble bong a little too hard. Luckily I'm always sure to include a fire alarm, so the blaze was quickly brought under control. Percy was sure to tip the fireman for his trouble.

Most of the day, however, was spent studying skills, doing chores, and keeping themselves fed and happy. (And me wondering why they never all sit at the table anymore -- seriously, someone always picks up his plate and goes to sit in the easy chair. WTF, Sims?)

I also had them start calling up Sims -- their Greek House is still a level one, so they need some new family friends. Percy called Aiden, Fred Shelby, and George Sheila. Conversations went well for all, and with any luck, they'll have some new friends next play session.

Percy also got a call from cheerleader April -- hmm, not a bad looking sort. I need to get this group some female company. *plans a Downtown outing*

-M2: If the Weasleys are opening a toy store after college, shouldn't they be working on their toy crafting badges?-
After some more grants -- the bubble blower was fairly expensive.
Okay, time to visit "Teen Doc" and grab some Doc angst for "Unsolved Mysteries."
-D: Why are we always the ones visited by angst?-
Because I'm the author and I say so. Besides, Marty's gotten angst too.
-M: Jack sure wasn't a bed of roses.-
-VM: And living with Biff and nearly dying -- yeah, we've gotten angst.-
Told ya. *goes off*
