The Sims 2: Pets Is Arriving
-D: Oh, I see. For the record -- I'm sure you all know Einstein is my dog. Sigmund is Gypsy's cat in NonTrilogy.-
Yup. Though I was no big fan of Unleashed, I'm willing to give Pets another go. I ask only two things from Maxis/EA:
1) Stray visits shall be kept to a minimum if included (and don't forget that stray-away sign)
2) FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, MAKE PETS CONTROLLABLE! That was a huge beef with me in the original game -- you could tell your pet where to go, and you could have your Sim interact with your pet. That was it. It drove me nuts to see the pets wandering around, and me having no way to stop them. *growl*
-M: Yeah, that does sound pretty annoying.-
Tell me about it. And the strays -- if it wasn't for Stray-Away, I would have gone mad. Ah well -- Maxis has had time to practice. Maybe this one will be decent.
-VD: I hope so, if only to spare us hours of your complaining.-

revison_doc update today (or, rather, yesterday) -- Marty and Jennifer have gone off to college! They'll be moving in with Gypsy, and I'll start my plans rolling.
-OD: *tentacles chitter* What about my robot store?-
I'm playing your house tomorrow, and I'm going to have you start stocking up. Also need to find Julia a boyfriend while I'm at it.
-OD: Too bad there's no other alien sims around for her.-
True. But there's plenty of townies with bad noses. :p
-TD: Are you going to do anything about her profile?-
I probably am, yes. My plan is to get her into the Secret Society, then have her borrow the plastic surgery machine so I can save before giving her a nose. I mean, she is pretty -- but her profile stinks because it's so flat. Might reduce her eyes slightly as well.
-VD2: I hope our Simself won't be too mad.-
I'll make sure he understands, yes.
Writing-wise, I'm almost complete with the Sucker attack rewrite in "V.D." -- I'm into redoing the hospital scenes. I also posted the second chapter of BTTX-2. I'm working on Chapter 7 right now.
-DW: Not too shabby.-
-TD: Nope. Though how's my fan fiction going?-
I'm into the "Boy Genius" version of the telescope scene. :) You two are so sweet together. . . .
-VD: She used the word "sweet" about Clara?!-
Oh, ha ha. I keep telling you I don't hate her.
-VD2: Well, considering our girlfriends haven't tried to kill her when they met, I suppose you don't.-
-D: *curious* Is Gypsy ever going to meet Clara?-
I doubt it -- I haven't thought of any way to cross your "fanon" into the canon. And going back to 1885, with what you know, would be a bit awkward, wouldn't it?
-D: *frown* Good point.-
-DW: From what I've seen when they come to visit, she gets along fine with VenomClara and ConstructClara. So does my GypsyFox.-
-M: I bet that's because they can trade stories about you.-
-VuM: Probably embarrassing ones.-

-MF: This is the advantage of being a furry and having a furry girlfriend -- you can smell when she's been talking about you. Tail movement helps too.-
