crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (exhausted)

-D: You know, I think the problem is that when you write a lot in your written notebooks, your mind thinks your quota is done for the day. Then you don't type.-
That might be a good point. Perhaps I should go with the flow and alternate?
-VD: We'd prefer SOME typing progress each day. . . .-
-VD2: At least editing. You should be almost ready to put up Chapter 8 of "Boy Genius," correct?-
Just want to give it a final once-over. Seriously considering having it up by this weekend.
-TD: *high-five Victorian-Dressed Marty* What about "Strange Bedfellows?"-
I'm crawling to an end -- this is gonna need a bit of editing. But I think I got the basic idea down.
-H: I like it. I especially like the description of pre-growth spurt Emmett: "He was fairly small for his age, and appeared to be all arms and legs."-
-M: *skeptically* Small? Doc?-
Actually, I've always imagined him around YOUR height pre-growth spurt.
-M: O.o-
-M2: *mutter* Makes me more annoyed I never hit mine.-
-VD: *pats shoulder* Look, there's nothing wrong with being short.-
-VuM: Except tall shelves.-
-OD: *tentacles chitter* That's what tall friends are for. Any art progress upcoming?-
I hope so -- this picture I have planned might be harder than I thought. And I still need to color the Doc Sprites and ink in the Martys.
-VM: Even Insanity?-
Why not, he's present for at least one of you.
-M: Narbonic!Marty still confuses us.-
-VDM: I can't imagine myself ever acting like Emmett.-
Well, I'm sure the rest of the Martys couldn't ever fanthom one of themselves calling Doc "Emmett." Or "Dad."
-VDM: *slightly pink* That's a little different.-
-VM: *slightly pink* Yeah, this about us, not Dad -- or, Doc, I guess.-
-VD2: Call me whichever, I don't mind.-
-VM: *grin* I like Dad.-
-D: DocWolf, what have the plotbunnies been like?-
-DW: She read two pregnancy-related BTTF stories, so a number of Martina -- both NonTrilogy and Trilogy -- thoughts, and she's apparently saving the "Food" prompt for me in the Drabbles88.-
I know it'll relate to the bunnies, I'm just not sure how yet.
-OD: *curious* Got any saved for me and NonTril?-
*looks at table* "Family" could be a good one for you, OckDoc. As for plain old Doc, maybe "Life."
-DW: Perhaps you should write these down somewhere?-
I should, along with the info on the McFly house setup. And maybe find out addresses too. I've really got to get over the idea that the notebook can't be a little messy.
-J: You're the type who likes to have it all on looseleaf beforehand, aren't you?-
I'm bad that way, yes. *swats wrist* But it'll give a chance to use up all that looseleaf stuff I collected and now never use.
-D: So do that tonight before bed.-
I think I will. I know Marty's already, of course, and your original addresses -- but I can't quite recall the "family man" Zemeckis road one. . . .
-TD: Do the rest of them all move to Zemeckis road?-
Yeah, I think so. It'll make it easier on me. You, of course, shall tour Europe giving electrical shows.
-H: Sounds fun!-
-TD: Really fun. Do I get Tesla coils?-
As many as you can carry and then some.
-TD: *big sparky grin* Beautiful.-

See, boys, if anyone's my favorite, it has to be him. I play Sims like clockwork.
-RPD: Yes, but you don't play Eureka like clockwork. I still have to poke you sometimes for that.-
Well, I've got an update today from there too. But first, Strangetown, and a visit to the Hardnames. They had a fairly uneventful day -- which surprised me. I thought for sure Adelaide was going to give birth today. Perhaps I have a stuck pregnancy -- I'll play her again next week, and if she doesn't give birth then, I'll back stuff into the inventory and move them out and in to try and reset her.
-J2: Stuck pregnancy. *shudder*-
LOL, yeah, I know, horror! But anyway, the day started out well -- Adelaide headed to bed as the others got up. Jim and J.C. both indulged in baths.

Jim headed out to work after breakfast -- J.C. played Henry in chess, finally making friends with her new stepdad.

I woke Adelaide up midmorning and put her in the Energizer -- with one Energize a day, it's a heck of a lot easier to keep up with her needs.

J.C. rocked out to her MP3 player for a bit, then it was time to build some skills. J.C. studied Cooking while Adelaide did Charisma (her usual nighty looking scary on her pregnant body. Then Henry did some studying on Cleaning while Adelaide cleaned herself up and painted.

After all that studying, J.C. called up Jennifer and chatted. I meant for her to call Marty too, but I got distracted. Next time.

Jim arrived home from work and hung out with Adelaide for a bit -- looks like he's talking about the toys they'll have to buy for the new kid. I've discovered to my annoyance they have almost no interests in common.

J.C. and Adelaide made and ate their suppers together, then J.C. farted. Adelaide looks like she's saying, "Too bad I can't have you arrested for that."

Jim needed Logic, so I sent him to the chessboard. J.C. joined him for additional bonding. Jim decided to talk woohoo -- no matter how many times my Sims do this, it still makes me smirk.

Then Jim made up a pot of mac and cheese as the girls went to bed. After his meal, he followed them. (You may notice they have a stove now -- I was sick of the toaster oven.)

Henry came home at 1 in the morning, with a promotion to General Practioner! I energized him so he could earn the necessary skills.

So it was off to the bench to play "What Random Crap Can I Pull out of the Dummy?"

Oh, wow, something relevant -- a beating heart!
It was around this time I noticed my waited-for labor wasn't happening. I woke Adelaide up -- she seemed fine, if still heavily pregnant. Puzzled, I had her and Henry get romantic, then waited around until morning.

Nope, she didn't pop. So I saved and left.
-AJ: Out of curiosity, did you pick out names for the potential baby?-
During play, actually. Christopher for a boy, Christina for a girl. I'm sure you can guess why.
-Docs: *knowing grins*-
As for the Eureka update, I made a restaurant -- welcome to Dubon Henri's.

Exterior -- it was hard picking the exterior for this. I wanted something that hinted at class. I finally went with this as it was a nice compliment to the wood of the windows and door.

Interior -- all wood paneling, with carpet and wood floor. The main room is the dining room, then there's a kitchen, bathrooms, and a small dance floor. It's an upscale joint.
-RPD: Nice. Next, back to Narbonic?-
You know, I don't see why not. May as well mix them up a bit. I think I'll do Helen's Flowers next.

Now, to try and finish up "Strange Bedfellows" before I get off. Gonna try to make this night a bit earlier -- slept poorly last night. Too hot, of all things.
-D: You might want to stop dancing before bedtime.-
Probably. *hooks up the fan*
