19. My first Trilogy-themed BTTF story was "Three Streets," a comedy fic.

Imagine that you have to evacuate your home for an unknown period of time. What items would you take with you? Brainstorm a list of 10 items, max, which must be small enuogh to carry in one trip. Explain your reasons for each items.
"Rules":
- You must be able to carry it in one trip. So if you can carry your pet or sig other, fine, but otherwise that would not count.
- Backpacks/suitcases, etc count as items, even if you use them to carry other things.
- You are not naked during this; your clothes on your back and your piercings do not count. Neither do glasses or contact lenses if you need them to see. However, rings, necklaces, belts, barets, etc, do count.
- The items must be items you currently own.
- Food only counts if it is "exotic" -- i.e. booze or coffee or whatnot.
I assume small groups must be broken up? *sigh*
1. My duffel bag -- we use it for trips, and it'll help me carry stuff.
2. My BTTF official trilogy boook -- my parents paid 50 dollars for it, so I'm NOT letting it get lost or whatever.
3. My Doc Kubrick -- I love Doc, and this is the closest thing I have to a hug-able one.
4. My Marty Kubrick -- can't split up Doc and Marty!
5. My white copy of the Part II novel -- it may be the censored version (yup, no swears!), but it's also in better condition than my blue copy, and it's signed to boot.
6. My latest story backup CD -- Like HELL am I going anyplace without these!
7. My latest Sims backup CD -- See above. (This one is a bit of a stretch, I admit -- just assume I took the one with Twin Oaks Park on it if I can only take one of the set)
8. My latest story notebook -- Again, not going anyplace without something to write in
9. My wallet -- to buy things, if I have to (like a pen for the notebook)
10. My BTTF fanclub magazine, issue 3 -- It's the one with the Chris Lloyd stuff, so it's special to me.
Of course, if I was allowed to take sets, you'd see all the Kubricks grouped as one, as well as all my BTTF novels.

Pick your top five "ships," i.e. romantic pairings, from your fandoms. Select a song that makes you think of each of these ships, and explain why.
Here's my answers:
1. Klaus/Vrin (H.M.S. Master or Mistress, Girl Genius): "Far Away," Nickelback. This was originally my "Sparks Fly" ship song (Gil/Agatha), but as I got into the idea of Klaus having wooed a Geister from Lucrezia, it switched to Klaus and Vrin. The song describes the scenario I thought up for them pretty well -- both thought the other was killed during the final Other battle, and they're both working to try and find the other to somehow get them back. I especially like "Give anything, but I won't give up" because it's SO Klaus and Vrin. They're both hardheads.
2. Doc/Clara (H.M.S. Astronomical, BTTF): "If Everyone Cared," Nickelback. A very sappy song that describes watching the stars, so it fits with Doc and Clara's famous astronomy lesson. It's just so sweet to me. I should probably clarify, though, that I'm thinking of the "Boy Genius" Sparky!Doc/Construct!Clara version of this pairing -- I got the CD while I was writing their version of that scene in BTTF III.
3. Niles/Daphne (Fraiser): "Jenny/967-5309," Tommy TuTone. This is actually based of a mistake -- when I first heard the song, I heard "Daphne," not "Jenny." And of course, being a Fraiser fan, when I hear Daphne, I automatically think of Niles Crane. So, ever since then, whenever I hear the song, I picture Niles singing the "Daphne" version I misheard.
4. Nightcrawler/Storm (Movie!X-Men): "Hips Don't Lie," Shakira. I truly have NO idea why. For some reason, I can just picture Kurt and Ororo dancing and jamming to the song.
5. Helen/Dave (Narbonic): "Lips of an Angel," Hinder. I first heard the song while rereading the Dave and Helen together storylines, and I immediately started thinking up clips from the comic to set to the words of the song. Since then it's become my official Dave/Helen anthem.
And special bonus "Hateship" song:
Bonus: Doc/Lucy, Doc/Jill (BTTF): "Fight For All the Wrong Reasons," Nickelback. This is just my favorite one -- I also like "Devil in Disguise" for these bitches. "All the Wrong Reasons" describes a guy being used by his girlfriend (though the guy in the song is luckier than Doc, he actually got sex out of it), while "Devil in Disguise" describes a girl who the guy thought was sweet but turned out to be evil. Considering how messed up I made these relationships for Doc, they're quite appropriate.
And for RPD's domain, update atrevison_doc. Marty safely got into Urele House. I thought I was going to have a problem for a bit -- my guide states that "Propose: Move In" is only accepted with best friends and above (Lifetime over 50), but either they got it wrong or it works different for Greek House members. Whew, I say. First update was quiet, but next update he throws a toga party.
Now to write and hide from the muses. Ta!
