crossover_chickI had an interesting problem while posting my previous entry -- upon hitting the update button, I was informed that I had already posted on October 6th, at 23:04, and that it was impossible for me post on October 6th, 16:52, unless I used the backdating feature. Baffled, I hit update a few times, wondering if it was a glitch in the system.
Nope. Still there. And then, finally, it hit me. For some reason, LiveJournal thought I had posted on October 6th, at 11:04 P.M. Now, I did post an update at that time -- on October FIFTH. Still confused, I went and checked my previous entries.
My last entry was listed as October 6th.
*eyes the Docs*
-D: We are not responsible for LJ somehow abusing the space-time continuum.-
-VD2: It's a computer program, Victoria, it can't use a DeLorean.-
-M: Maybe it has to do with the fact it's Mad Hatter day today.-
Well, whatever the reason, LJ glitched. I managed to set it straight, and to avoid a further incident with this posting -- was listing as October 7th briefly, at 3:33 A.M. A quick refresh reminded it of the real date.
-TD: Odd. Very odd.-
Well, like Marty said, Mad Hatter day.
-VD: Any more with that story, incidentally.-
A little -- I'm tying it to the "Drink" Drabbles88 fic, by having Marty suggest the theme after having a series of weird dreams while reading Alice In Wonderland for school. Though I'm actually making more progress with "Boy Genius" today. I think seeing Dingbot Prime do his "save the day (and Mommy)" act helped.
-TD: *grin* Yes, he is quite the useful little clank, isn't he? Agatha should be very proud of her creation.-
-VDM: Where are you in the story?-
Typed? We're meeting the geisterdamen. Written? We're finishing up on Castle Wulfenbach. It's gonna be over soon.
-TD: Not really, you have many more pages of this to type.-
-VDM: And a sequel planned.-

Oddly. I'm tempted to make a proper drabble, or at the very least, a double drabble. Do you mind?
-DW: *shakehead* So long as I get one. Then it's OckDoc's turn, correct?-
Yup, then it's OckDoc's turn. Then I'll have covered all the muses and can go back to strangeness.
-OD: *tentacles chitter* The kids want to know what ours will be about.-
Moving into a new house with VenomClara is my idea.
-OD: *tentacles squee* We approve!-
LOL, yeah, figured you would.
-RPD: *floats in* Well, enough about fan fic, what about Sims?-
Only two pics today, RPD, though I kept my promise and went to Eureka. My cousin next door turned 1 yesterday, so I had to go to his little party after supper. So I wasn't on until late. Setting aside my plans to play the Browns, I went instead for construction. Luckily, HVU still had an empty lot -- the gym, Crunchers. I started on that, finishing basic construction and the bathrooms/shower before saving.
Then, knowing I had to get over to Eureka, I switched to Narbonics and set up Artie's Vegan Pardiso. Going with a blue and green theme here, with a beige kitchen. The corners are all cut off for visual interest. I felt like experimenting a bit.
-RPD: Hmm, small kitchen. . .-
Yeah, I may change that. But it's a good start, yes?
-RPD: Looks nice to me.-
-M: So after this is built and you build another Downtown lot, me and Doc get made?-
Yup. I feel safer putting this college Doc into the time travel major now -- it appears to be fixed. :) And of course the story starts off with you being orphaned. I should also probably make a single fuzzy construct before starting the storyline.
-RPD: Another LiveJournal?-
I am tempted. . . .
However, it's time to get typing some more. I can't let my hands get frozen again!
-OD: How about another colored sprite? Geekiness can't be too hard.-
No -- though which do you prefer? Orange shirt and green pants, or green shirt and orange pants?
-OD: *tentacles squeak* Uh -- if those are my ONLY choices --
I wanted to use the original Ock colors, that's all.
-OD: Orange pants then. They'll look like my future clothes.-
All righty then.
-VD: *poke* Now, onto "V.D." edits!-
