I wasn't able to switch the video cards though -- the ATI Radeon is incompatible with the Pavilion. Not PCI-Express capable or something. *prays the new video card works out*
All my documents are on the computer, AND I found a disk for WordPerfect, so perhaps I won't have to convert all my stories over to Works format. Since it took a couple of hours to ready the new computer, I also picked up:

I'm still getting used to the new computer. My BTTF theme has been reinstalled, and I've put Windows Live Messenger and AIM back on the computer. AIM's giving me some bullshit though -- you see, I first registered a LONG time ago, and now I haven't a clue in hell what my password is. And it's not letting me get to the page so I can get it back/get a new one. *grumble* The Pavilion seems noiser than the Vaio too.

I'm gonna try again to reactivate my AIM, then probably head to bed. Reinstalling Sims can wait until tomorrow -- I'm tired, just got my monthly "friend," and I have work. Hmph.
