It kind of takes away from the big scene in the first movie, where Peter discovers his uncle's killer is the same man he let walk away before. Couldn't they have thought of another way to bring in Sandman?

I also went to the wiki, and Gwen Stacy is dating Eddie Brock apparently. O.o
