Voice Has Gone to Bubonic Plague

crossover_chickReally glad I have afternoon shifts this week -- much nicer to be able to "sleep in" a bit.
-D: And get some writing done, I hope, even with the cold.-
2 1/2 on "Time Mix-Up," 1 1/2 on "Gift and Curse" -- hey, OckDoc, I'm just about to the bit where you dangle Biff off the Pleasure Paradise.
-OD: *rather evilly, while VampDoc2 high-fives the tentacles* Excellent.-
-TD: Okay, you people can't call me the scary-voiced one anymore.-
-OD: A Mr. Burns impression does not equal the Spark voice, you.-
Behave, you lot. You're causing enough trouble in the drabbles88 I thought up.
-VD2: Did you start rewriting that again?-
Yeah, but I finally got one I like. Just have to finish it off now. . . .
-OD: Is that why you erased everyone in the picture?-
Yeah, I'm hoping to make the sketch match the story. Though I can't guarantee that the picture will be all that complete -- I'm considering making you all semi-chibi to save some time and trouble with hands.
-OD: *tentacles chitter* Fine with us, so long as you draw.-
-VD: What about typing? I'm all for another muse story, but what about my revisions?-

backtothefanfic story, and so far it's going well.
-DW: At last. Christmas-themed?-
Yeah. I'm in the mood. Can you believe that, as of tomorrow, there will only be 12 days left until Christmas?
-M: Hey, the twelve days of Christmas! We should do the song.-
LoL -- actually, the 12 days of Christmas happen AFTER Christmas. But I have no objections to doing the song. Though I'd prefer to do The Twelve Pains of Christmas. :D Love that song.
-M2: *chuckle* Everything has to be a bit twisted with you, doesn't it?-
Of course. More traditional Christmas carols and songs are okay, but once you've been subjected to a period where they were being played nonstop on the radio, you crave a bit of evil.
-VDM: Hence why you like "Narbonic" so much.-

-RPD: Hey, I thought you were visiting the Clayton/Lloyds.-
Sorry, it got into my head to visit Ariana. Next week.
Anyway, Ari and George the kitten had a decent day together -- George was very good about using the litter box early this morning.
He went to sleep just as Ari was getting up, so I had her paint, eat, and study while he napped.
She also called up Gypsy and made friends -- she needed another one for work, and Gypsy was the highest.
George eventually woke up -- I had Ari praise him for not sleeping on her bed. After Einstein blocked an exhausted Julia from sleeping in her bed in Twin Oaks Park, I'm forbidding pets from beds. Furniture is okay, but no beds.
She also played with and snuggled little Georgie, and gave him a treat once he was back on solid ground.
She also continued on reinforcing behaviors, such as going in the litterbox and eating pet food. Best to do it while they're young, especially since he can't do much else. (They really should have given puppies and kittens fun needs, I want to see him play with that toy I bought him.)
She called up another acquaintance, Komei, and started working on friending him too, as George got some food.
Then, time for more playing and snuggling. Ari considers him a nice pet friend now. Hopefully "mine" will follow soon on George's side.
Then Ari paints while George gets on and off that pillow.
Nighttime brings dinner/dessert for Ari (this banana split thing is under the dinner options), and a phone call from Mr. Big, asking her out on the town. She declines, but still manages to get to best friends with him.
Then, owner and kitten go to sleep. George dreams about all his fellow puppies and kittens at the pound, which I find adorable.
-RPD: *smiles* That is sort of cute. Planning on adopting out any more pets?-
We'll see. Maybe the Hardnames would like a kitten or puppy to go with the new baby. And the Mortes seem obsessed with having a dog at some point.
-H: Well, I like dogs. What's wrong with getting a puppy?-
Well -- nothing, I guess. It just wasn't in the plan before. And maybe getting a dog will get you and John to reappear on that stupid loading screen picture.
-H: O.o-
-E: They're not there?-
Nope -- just the kids, Arazel, and Carla. They obviously still exist, so it must just be a glitch.
-VD2: Video card problems again?-
Who knows. Though objects will flash odd colors occasionally. Really gotta upgrade. A pox on the Best Buy guy who told me this card would be okay.
Now, off to work. Trying to keep it to earlier nights now -- I want this stupid cold to go away already.
-HD: We could always have the Queen of Hearts cut off your head.-
