Yup. Dave and Helen are on the island, working out their relationship kinks. It promises to be an interesting ending. And at least it's not permanently going away -- Shaenon's giving us a Director's Cut version in the new year. :)

-VD: All right, time to break whatever fourth wall this journal possesses, since I'm sure very few people here read "Narbonic" -- the comic strip includes a superintelligent talking animal, a gerbil named Artie. Artie eventually gained a human form thanks to further genetic engineering and, later, the ability to switch back and forth between the forms. Initially, this form-shift was caused by a bad case of the hiccups.-
-RPD: You knew I'd overindulge and get a case myself! HIC! *goes incorporal*-
Relax, you'll be better soon enough. I'm actually impressed you keep hiccuping while incorporal -- no diaphram.
-TD: Well, obviously he has SOME way of controling air flow -- he can speak, can't he?-

Anyway, slept a bit poorly last night, so I'm really gonna try to make tonight a bit earlier. Not before writing a bit more on something, though. "Marty In Wonderland" is the obvious choice, but I feel I should do some edits on something. I also have an idea for a drabbles88.
-VD: Edits. You've been neglecting them.-
-TD: Or at least create a file for an aside. Writing for the canon characters, coupled with the reread you're planning, might refresh your batteries for "Boy Genius."-
Hmm, you have a point there. I also want to work out the plot kinks too. . . . I vow to have this uber-story done by next year, though.

Honestly, I'm worried about jealousy issues. A Sparky Marty does complicate things for the normal ones. . . .
-VDM: I'm okay with him visiting. He speaks Spark, he's a good translator if Ael's JigowattJohn isn't around.-
That's good. But yeah, they've faded some since, so I don't think they're muse-strong yet. More in TrilogyDoc and X-Doc's range.
