Progress On The Alice Search
Jan. 15th, 2007 11:14 pmCame across some clips on Gamespot, including one cutscene of the Gnome Elder. Poor quality, but it's SOMETHING. Currently just reading reviews and hoping against hope I'll find something.
-HD: What puzzles me is that you haven't deleted the file from your computer yet.-
Well, it is interesting being able to hear the stuff I didn't see before. I just really wish the damn video and sound synched up! And it's no use trying to watch it on the site -- I can get the sound, but not the video. *sigh* Maybe it's time to trawl eBay, I have a debit card now. . . .
-M: Earth logic -- now there's something that doesn't come up here everyday.-
Hush you, or I'll make you sit through a
pottersues trawl with me.
-D: Any luck prying your mind away from "Alice" and onto your fanfiction? Besides "Marty In Wonderland," anyway. . .-
Got my pages done in the written journals -- I think both stories will be wrapping up this week, actually.
-OD: Really? That's interesting. Generally your projects aren't so closely in sync.-
I know, it's weird. But yes, with typing, it was "Marty in Wonderland" all the way here. I actually checked the chapter lengths so far -- turns out the Mad Tea Party and the Jabberwock bit are okay together. I think, all together, it'll be about seven or eight chapters long.
-HD: Not bad, not bad at all.-
-OD: *tentacles chatter* I see you've got the sketchpad out -- I hope that means illustrations for it, at least.-
Heh, maybe -- I do have a picture of a tumbling TAS Marty I can work from in my first TAS comic (he's on a trampoline). But first, I have to get some "V.D." edits and some stuff done on either "Boy Genius" or "Siblings." Otherwise, VampDoc and TeenDoc will go the Queen of Hearts route.
-TD: And we CAN too, because I can resurrect you once we're finished.-
-VD: Or turn you into a vampire and justify your nocturnal nature.-
Be kind of hard to explain to my parents, though, don't you think?
-VD2: What about the January challenges? I'd assume you'd do the first one, as the second would probably be intensely painful.-
-DW: I just got a vague "toaster from hell" plotbunny. . . .-
Yeah, not getting a lot of inspiration for that. Hmmm.
-MF: You'll come up with something. You generally do.-
Heh, thanks.
-RPD: I'll say -- she's managed to keep up the newspaper articles from Eureka, hasn't she? Almost all of those are on the fly.-
Well, it helps if the Sims try and suggest something to me. Getting everybody Downtown this next cycle should help a lot with that. Incidentally, we have a
eurekasims update -- the Carters use up this generation's bottle of Smart Milk to help out Arthur. A few of those shots were just perfect for the mood I wanted to convey about the Villagers.
-VuM: Your Sims cooperating with anything? That's new.-
Tell me about it. :p
Anyway, now to write. And play Spider Solitaire, much to my muses' annoyance.
-TD: You should at least put it on hard level now.-
I hate hard level!
