Laughing my ass off and getting no work done on my stories. Why am I not being poked to death by the Docs?
I've hypnotized them with ThinkGeek.

Of course, I suspect I'll pay the price for this when their birthday and Christmas lists are filled with stuff from the store. (Hey, gigs_83, did ya know they have a sonic screwdriver for sale?)
Anyway, got the curse, so perhaps PMS was part of the reason I'm not doing so great on the writing front.

-TTV: *slight smile* I don't know about that -- DocWolf tells me you still think about that Corpse Bride/The Mask crossover fairly often.-
Probably because a good number of my favorite music vids on YouTube are Corpse Bride themed. *patpats* Where you been, anyway?

Well, I do have a Sims update for y'all:

Yup, I'm in a fairly Alicey mood, so to the Wonderland house we went. The gang had a fairly good day -- White Rabbit, March Hare, and Hatter all got promotions (to Rookie, Fast Food Shift Manager, and Field Researcher respectively), and Alice got an A+ in school.

Increased finances mean new purchases -- Alice and Hatter both made successful toy robots at the new robot bench.

And the gang got a White Rabbit Bubble Blower, which Dormy and the Rabbit himself enjoyed very much. :p

Mostly, though, today was about skilling and quality time. Since summer offers a friendship bonus, I basically kept everyone talking or interacting with each other as much as I could. Worked out pretty well, as everyone who isn't related is pretty much friends by this point. They even got to talk to outsiders!

Hatter and Dinah in particular are now, apparently, BFFs. Which is good, since I am going with a Hatter/Alice pairing once Alice is properly legal (i.e., enters college).

Though Alice might object to him feeding Dinah blue globs of table scraps. (Seriously, what IS that?)

New custom food -- chocolate ice cream! Cloned off the gelatin, so it's apparently Wonka-brand non-melting. :p

Random stuff -- March successfully makes a brick pal, and Alice fails to catch butterflies.

Basically, the same random crap that happens when I play my non-story based families. Ah well, there's something to be said for playing just for playing. :p

Midnight -- time to check on the webcomics. And keep voting on the daemons, I don't WANT to be a spider! :(

LOL, yeah, I kinda figured. :p I think it's pretty damn cool the toy version inspired a revamp of the actual thing. :D

Ed bought it for me. It's also a pen. It has 2 different tips. One's a regular black pen and one's a tip with invisible ink that appears when you shine the light from the screwdriver on it. It also makes the noise of the one in the show.

Sadly, my invisible ink tip dried out. :(
