crossover_chick-M: Crap, what now?-
-RPD: Let me guess -- Sims trouble?-
I've NEVER had an issue with installation before. But this time -- *shakes head* I'm REALLY starting to just fucking HATE EA.
-TD: What happen? Error message?-
No, just the program not doing anything. It got up to 54%, prompted me for disk 2 -- I plopped it in, and then -- nada. I ejected and pushed it back in -- nothing. I canceled the install, then put disk 1 in. Nope, nothing came up.
-RPD: *turns solid just to headdesk* I thought our problems with this game were supposed to be over! I FINALLY had my primary duties back!-
-HD: *pats back* There there. Tea?-
-RPD: Why the hell not. *takes cup*-
-D: I thought I saw you playing something, though.-
Alice. That worked fine, so yay for her. I'm partway through Labyrinthe's Revenge. Just gotta deal with the steam jets. I am no good at floating on steam. Ah well, I'll get through it eventually.
-VD: Get anything else done?-
Eh, downloaded the director cuts for my primary hack-getters. Only problem is, I've now got a lot of "extraneous" hacks I've never seen before. I plopped all my "regulars" into the appropriate folders, and I'll sort through the rest later. I would have just taken out the Hacks folder, but there's this nasty bug in Free Time that I wanted to get the critical fix for right away.
-VD: I see. How about fanfic?-
I wrote up the other drabbles88 last night, and I'm doing some work on "Comfortably Numb" now. Acceptable?
-VD2: Yes, I suppose.-
-OD: So, now what?-
Now I sign in as one of my Sim identities and look to see if I can find a fix for my stupid FreeTime disks. *grumblemutter*
-DW: At least you made backups.-
Yeah, made sure to do the RAR file first thing. And of course I have a spare backup of Twin Oaks Park, just in case.
-HD: No more unlinked subhoods?-
I may cry if that happens again.
-HD: No crying! Have a scone.-
