crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (feeling sparky/creative)

*pause for "it's only just become obvious" jokes here*

Hey, guys, remember "Cinder-Marty?" Well, that's done now, and I really ought to work on showing it to people outside of Moose. (Drifting off from the main point already. . . .) Anyway, Victor and Alice ended up getting minor roles in that. First it was cameos, then Victor actually played a small but crucial part in the plot, and finally they made another cameo in the end where it was revealed I'd indulged my Victor/Alice shipping tendencies, despite showing them at the ball with my OTHER ships for them. Simple, cute throw-out to my other favorite fandoms, right?

I've got plans for a "Lion King 1 1/2"-style "midquel" showing just how Victor and Alice got together. You heard right.

Not to mention that, in lieu of Futurifying "The Little Mermaid," I've gotten the idea to CORSPIFY it. It would be kind of a mix between the Disney tale and the Hans Christian Andersen one, with Emily as the titular mermaid, Victor as the prince, Victoria as the "other woman," Pastor Galswells as Triton (I WAS going to have it be Elder Gutknecht, but Pastor Galswells seems like the funnier choice), Barkis as Ursula, and Bonejangles in the Sebastian role, though he's probably NOT going to be a crab. The ending is bugging me, though -- part of me thinks the HCA end would actually work for this version, given it's using characters from "Corpse Bride," the other part is my inner Emily/Victor/Victoria shipper screaming "THREESOME ENDING."

And let's not even start on Futurifying "Sleeping Beauty." Except to state that, yes, Marty, you'd actually get to be the BOY in that version.

You know, it's probably a good thing there's a mental health clinic just up the street from where I live, because I may have to check myself in.

At least it's a constructive sort of mental. ;-) Although I must say that saying you're going to Corpsify something sounds pretty disturbing, out of context. Still, ideas are ideas, and most of yours end up being pretty good reads. [/shameless flattery]

I sincerely hope you're kidding about checking into that mental health clinic - you've seen the TVTropes page, "Go Among Mad People", and specifically the "Truth in Television" section, yes? We'd all hate for something like that to happen to you over a mere case of Mad Authorship.

LOL, yeah, true on both counts. :D Might as well have the kind of mental that results in plot ideas. Rather cracked out plot ideas, granted, but I'll take what I can get. (And "Briding" doesn't sound right. *shrug*)

Yes, yes, I was joking! I just find it amusing that such a place is so close to my house. (And yeah, TVTropes kinda owns my soul. XD)
