And Lo, the Nexus Met a Marty McFly
Mar. 28th, 2009 11:39 pmAnd it was good.
-RPD: Finally let him out and about in there, huh?-
Well, he's been bugging me. Might as well use him for some more proper RP, right?
-RPM: Definitely.-
So far he's met John (and had a rather hilarious conversation with him, as John is currently hyped up on coffee), Frostbite, and Future!Farley. Yay action, since the Rift is being particularly quiet as of late.
-D: Well, Ael's sick.-
Yeah, but that doesn't account for the rest of them. Must be busy or something.
-HD: Taxes? Isn't it that time of the year?-
Hmmm, could be part of it. On that note, remind me to get going on mine tomorrow. Didn't buy the latest edition of TurboTax for nothing.
-VD2: Precisely. You need to write too.-
I know, I'm trying to do some more on "When Worlds Collide" at the moment. NonTrilogy Doc and Gypsy are boarding the train -- all they have to do is pick up Jennifer, get the other train in their sights, and then Stanley has to do something stupid to make the other train go through another dimension and crash.
-OD: *tentacles seem puzzled as to whether or not they should snigger* It's okay, kids, she's not letting anything happen to the Martys.-
Yes, this will be a classic case of irony -- since the Martys are tied down, they're barely going to get jolted.
-VD: Hah! And everyone else gets thrown around, I assume?-
Yup.
-TD: Please tell us Andrew ends up touching the train wall and getting himself a nasty burn.-
I think I can provide that. ^^
-DW: If you're going to write for us, you probably should stop listening to all the songs that remind you of Victor and Alice.-
I know, I know. Addictive little couple. But I shall persevere.
And now, I have comments to consider.

Ah well, if nothing else, she'll get a productive time running every scan she can on this 'Hedge' in the meantime.

Date: 2009-04-01 02:29 am (UTC)I'll make sure Doc puts it on her tab. ;) I was really just gonna do a fadeout there, because there's only so long you can talk to yourself. :p They're sharing all the pertinent stuff, though.
Indeed. Though she's sure to get some weird readings, it being magical and all. What the Wikipedia article on "Changeling: The Lost" says on it:
The Hedge
While not an inherent part of the changelings themselves, the Hedge represents a vast, seemingly intelligent ecosystem that lies in the netherworld between Faerie and Earth. Changelings have the innate ability to enter, access and explore the Hedge and its bounty as well as dangers. It is home to "hobgoblins", beings, sometimes sapient sometimes not, who deal with changelings on a fairly regular basis.
So yeah, take care, Frostbite.

I would like those two to deal out some Fae asskickings. I think it would give them more peace actively participating in making the Fae less of a threat than being on the sidelines.
