Annoyances of Life

crossover_chickMy mouse randomly died on me this morning. This has happened before, and I finally got annoyed enough to get a new mouse. I now have a sleek little black thing attached to my computer. It's a little smaller and lighter than my old one, so I can move it around quicker. At least, it seems that way to me.
-VD: Well, that's always a good thing. Though it's probably because the dust hasn't settled on it yet.-
Maybe. :p
In other news, we also had a power outage at work today. We only had power for about half of my shift. Not a good thing when there's a lot of Wednesday orders to get out. I suspect Thursday will be busy as hell. At least I had plenty of time for my writing today.
-TD: How's "Love Will Find a Way" coming along?-
Slowly but surely. I'm currently setting the scene with Victor -- he and his family are at a lunch date with the Everglots and the Cartwells, the latter being a living Emily's family. Because you can't have "Corpse Bride" without the titular character in SOME form or fashion. Alice will be next, then we'll get them to the ball and have the sparks start flying.
-VD2: You're in a bit of a shippy mood lately. Valentine's Day was back in February, you know.-

Not much happening on the RPG front today (besides a lot of tarot card memeing), so I took the opportunity to revamp my profile a bit. Cleaned up some old stuff, got rid of a few things, and neatly organized the "Related Journals" section with a little table. I really need to make a similar page for my website.
-RPD: Is this it for journals, or are you planning on more?-
-RPM: She's still gotta make Steve and Gary's.-
Yeah, though it looks like I'm making my own icons again. Sheesh, people, I know the Companion Cube is awesome, but let's have more turret love! I also had an idea for one more, but that might run into icon trouble too.
-D: Who now?-
-DW: Actually, it's a journal for us.-
-D: . . . Really?-
Yeah -- I keep thinking it might be a good idea for you guys to have one, after Clockwork's birthday party last year. I've actually got Victor's icon already, I'm just trying to figure out you guys.
-HD: A noble effort! You have a name in mind?-

-OD: *tentacles chatter* What about the Martys and Jennifers?-
They'll be part of it too -- you'll all be sharing the one. Because making separate journals for all of you is -- a bit too much, I'm sorry.

That and I'd NEVER keep track of them all. Ever.
Anyway, I ought to get more backstory done on Simon and Lucy. Stuff needs to be written!
