More Weird Minimates

crossover_chickMall trip went off well. Hit the usual stores -- got three new books from Borders: "Stupid American History," "Moving Pictures" (the next Discworld after "Eric"), and "Ella Enchanted." I figured I'd give that last one a try, I've heard good things about it. I also got from Newberry what you see in my subject line -- specifically, a new set of T-2 minimates. :D Apparently this was a special set to boot, with some sort of exclusive from the San Diego Comic Con. (Don't ask me how it ended up in Newberry Comics.) I've got some pictures:
Battle-Damaged Cyberdyne Infiltration T-800. He's holding a heavy-duty gun that came with another character. He comes with an alternate silver hand that's the usual little minimate claw.
Sarah Connor, Assassin. She comes with an alternate, simple ponytail hairpiece and the gun she tried to kill Miles Dyson with. She's holding it by the top here because I'm not sure how she'd hold it normally.
A battle-damaged, scorched T-800 endoskeleton, with the other of the big guns. Not sure why he's in this playset, considering he's from the future and not the Cyberdyne mission. Maybe as a warning about what'll happen if they don't change the future?
Miles Dyson, with his axe. He's apparently the exclusive figure. He's also sorta the reason I bought this, because who can resist a little minimate axe? XD (The axe is from him smashing up stuff in Cyberdyne -- it's really only shown in the extended version.)
I also hit Dave and Busters -- I had a coupon for some extra gameplay credits, which I plan to make good use of. And I topped it off with an Addicted To Chocolate shake from Ben & Jerry's. Seriously, that thing is SINFULLY good. Om nom nom. All in all, a rather pleasant trip.
Not much else happening, besides me working on fanfic. Oh, and Alice got her promised thread. I also saw something that Doc could answer, so I'll do that either later today or tomorrow. Man, I'm actually being kind of productive! It's WEIRD.
