crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (Default)

As promised, I have pictures of my makeshift Halloween House. My mom got a bunch of art supplies from my aunt recently -- 1000 craft sticks, sheets of foam, lots of paint and markers -- so Mom decided to make houses with my baby cousin for Halloween. I got invited along for the ride.

The front of the house. The base is a little cardboard box with a cardboard roof -- we glued the craft sticks on to give the house a wooden appearance. Mine is the neatest of the group -- while Mom and my cousin just covered the box with glue, then slapped on sticks willy-nilly, I deliberately glued each one down individually. There's a little foam ghost and cat here, along with a stick of "Fluffy" from Harry Potter that I happened to have (came with the art supplies.)

Somewhat blurrier pictures of the house -- I wanted to try and get a fuller-frame shot than that first one. As you can see, we broke some of the craft sticks in half to give it a more ramshackle appearance.

One side of the house. Over here we have a bat flying out of the window, a ghost escaping a hole in the roof, Hedwig in sticker form roosting on the roof, and a pipe-cleaner pumpkin.

The other side of the house, with more bats heading out for a night flight. The back of the house is just craft sticks, so I didn't bother to take a picture of that.

Cute, huh?
-D: Heh, yeah. What do you plan to do with it?-
Mom suggested we could use it as a candy box on Halloween. Speaking of which, we're going to have to start prepwork around here soon enough. And at the Inkwell.
-VD: It's still the end of September, settle down.-
-OD: Yeah, you should concentrate on your writing a bit more. How about some more "There's Always Tomorrow?"-
Um -- I've hit a snag with that.
-OD: *Jules* How so? We thought you had it all plotted out?-
Yeah, but it's something I didn't really think about during the first draft. Your clothes.
-OD: My -- clothes?-
Well, you need time-appropriate clothing, don't you?
-OD: *Jules* I fail to see the problem. Can't Father just purchase some?-
That's what I'm wondering. I don't know how much prefabricated clothing a place like Old West Hill Valley would have. And OckDoc can't use a tailor because of you guys.
-OD: *Jules* . . . Crap. Damn it, I didn't even realize that.-
Me either!
-VuM: Wait a minute, where'd the trilogy version of me get his clothes from then?-
I dunno! I am now officially confused! And I'm not entirely sure how the hell you look this up on Google! Moose suggested San Francisco as a possibility for getting prefab stuff, so I suppose I could always send them there -- but anyone else have an opinion to add? Maybe I should take it to that Little Details LJ community, like Moose suggested? I am puzzled, everyone! PUZZLED!
-DW: At least the Victor/Alice stories are going well.-
Yeah, because I don't have to worry overmuch where THEY get their clothes. Still working on the snarking and stuff. Thinking of adding this list of rules for 50s housewives I found somewhere else.
-HD: *thoughtfully sipping tea* I can't see Alice as a typical 50s housewife.-
-TD: I can't see Alice as a typical housewife period.-
Yeah, me either. That's why it's funny to use her to comment on this shit.
-RPD: How about some RPing? Didn't you have an idea for Steve and Gary, at least?-
Oh, yeah, I really ought to do that. Remind me tomorrow, will ya? Get them some fresh air. . . .
-MF: Do robots really need fresh air?-
-VD2: I suspect the Inkwell denizens might claim they do.-
*snork* They're not that bad.
-AJ: Just bad enough. Sort of glad you never turned them human -- what happened to that, anyway?-
[livejournal.com profile] dear_multiverse deciding to suffer a LOL-drought. *grumble* Mind you, I'd design their human forms in Sims, which isn't exactly working anymore, so. . . .
Anyway, I have a web to browse and some more stuff to fiddle with. See ya all later.
