Not too shabby, not too shabby. I've actually finished the Puss In Boots section. I don't think it's my best chapter, but it's NaNo. You take what you get.
-D: Editing is for wimps, I think they'd say.-
*laugh* Yeah.
Anyway, off to the mall tomorrow to stretch my legs and see if I can find some interesting stuff. I've got two books to find in Borders, and hopefully some more music in Newberry. (I'm hoping to find non-live versions of "Lover's End" and "Blue" by Birthday Massacre -- the live versions are okay, but I've never really been a fan of that style. I'm not the concert-going type, honestly.)
-M: Oh, you're missing out.-
Missing out on what? Noisy crowds, overpriced tickets, extremely loud bands?
-M2: That's all part of the fun!-
*dubious Vicky is dubious* Riiight. . . . I think I'd rather stay home with a good book.
Speaking of one of my favorite activities, I've managed to finish Ella Enchanted. Overall, I found it a fun read. Ella's an interesting heroine, though occasionally she smacked of Mary-Sue-like qualities to me. Given she's supposed to be the fairy tale heroine Cinderella, though, I'll forgive her. She's got more than enough interesting bits to her to make up for it. At any rate, I enjoyed it enough to search out another of the author's books, Fairest. There's a snippet of it in Ella (I got, basically, the version of the book with DVD extras XD), and it looks quite intriguing. She's taking on Snow White in that one, and I want to see how she handles it.
-VD2: Well, whatever helps with the NaNo.-
Heh. I'm also almost done with the book version of Coraline. It's -- okay, though I like the movie version more. Adaptation Expansion was desperately needed. Still, it's not a bad read.
Now, time to wrap this up -- I have a lot of Comics Curmudgeon to read before I have to hit the sheets.
