I'm already loving being able to write Caliban as the Beast. I LOVE Caliban. :D I just hope I do him justice in this chapter. Speaking of which, here's the wordcount:

44575 / 50000 words. 89% done!

-VD2: Great Scott, you really are going to be done by this upcoming Tuesday, aren't you?-
Yup. One day before the whole "yay you've officially won" stuff starts. Awesome, no?
-DW: If only you were this productive on all your stories.-
I try, I really do.
-D: *pats shoulder* We know.-
-TTV: Besides, if she were productive on every story, she'd be productive on those stories we're not sure we want her to write.-
-DW: Great Scott -- point.
*rolls eyes*
As for today's mall trip, it was pretty good overall, except for my period sneaking up on me today at the beginning. I hate when it does that. I did get a good amount of new stuff, though:
-->A new book, Stupid Science, from Borders
-->Another Birthday Massacre CD from Newberry Comics (this one with the non-live versions of "Lover's End" and "Blue")
-->A WALL-E comic from Newberry (serious! It's a prequel comic about the remaining WALL-Es)
-->A two-pack of Terminator 2 minimates, Biker T-800 and Kyle Reese (no, I don't know the logic of putting Kyle with T-2 mates)
-->A four-pack of Ghostbuster minimates -- Peter Venkman, Egon Spengler, Dana Barrett, and Louis Tully/Terrordog (There's sort of a shell that fits over the minimate)
I also got a Subway lunch, twenty dollars of play on my Dave and Buster's card (I had a buy $10 worth, get $10 free coupon), and an Oreo yogurt shake from TCBY's. Yeah, I kinda went crazy spending.
-TD: Well, as long as it's all stuff you'll enjoy.-
Oh yeah, the CD and the WALL-E comic are already proving worth it. I'm just wondering where the hell I'm going to put the new minimates now. It's getting crowded up on that shelf.
-OD: *tentacles investigate* Perhaps it's time to get rid of some of those books.-
Yeah, I haven't read anything Marx Brothers in ages. It just feels a bit weird to get rid of all of them.
-VD: Well, then, pick one you think you might actually read again, and just get rid of the rest.-
-OD: *Jules* It's not a perfect solution, though -- what does she do with the DeLorean model?-
-VD: Oh, hmmm.-
I just need more shelf space in general, I think. I want more of those Corpse Bride minifigures too, and I have no place to put THEM, either.
Oh, on that sort of note, Newberry mocked me today. They actually had an American McGee's Alice figurine out and about on the shelves.
-HD: O.o And you didn't purchase it?!-
It was the Jabberwock, not one I wanted to buy -- incidentally, the figure looks NOTHING like the version that's actually in the game. More like some sort of lava monster.
-HD: Curiouser and curiouser. I assume you want a Mad Hatter figure?-
Would be nice, but mainly I want an Alice figure.
-TTV: *deadpan* Which would live on the same shelf as your Corpse Bride figures?-
Yup. In fact, I may even go so far as to buy the Series 2 Victor from MacFarlane --
-TTV: *startled* I beg your pardon? Series 2?-
Yeah, the toys came out in a series, and there was a different Victor and Emily for each. Series 2 Victor is the more disheveled one.
-VDM: Why would you need a more disheveled Victor, other than the obvious?-
-RPD: Remember how we originally told DGVictor apart from Tie-Twister Victor? Before Victoria got the idea from Ally's drawings to have DGVictor reverse the color of his tie and waistcoat?-
-VDM: Oh, right!-
Hehehehe.
-M: You'd better hope she doesn't find this figure -- or, if she does, she doesn't manage to make any -- weird poses with it.-
-TTV: Oh, I have my mallet close in hand, just in case.-
