Yup, had another weird dream that I actually remember bits and pieces of for a change. This one was Corpse Bride related. I dreamed that I'd acquired (maybe off eBay) this weird white VHS cassette of Corpse Bride. I put it in to watch it, and the movie was totally different. It started out the same, but William and Nell started singing a slower version of "According to Plan" while in the carriage with Victor, the town square looked nothing like the actual CB square, and the Everglot mansion was off in the countryside somewhere. Victoria was treated even worse by her parents, Hildegarde (her maid) was a younger, fat lady, and Barkis was already there and had already rejected Victoria!

Somehow, Victor and Victoria met when Victor snuck over to her house and for some reason pretended to be the gardener. Also, I have no idea how Emily was involved -- the only scene I remember with any mention of her was the end, with Victor and Victoria together, apparently in the Ball and Socket Pub, chatting about all the weird stuff that had happened to them and how it had all worked out.

Oh, and despite me dreaming all the dialogue in English, the movie was supposed to be in Portuguese. Yeah. I also remember dreaming going online to see if this was a legitimate variation to the film or whether I'd been tricked by someone's fanmade shit.

No, I have no idea what brought this on. My subconscious is just nuts.
