Alicey Thoughts
Jul. 23rd, 2010 11:45 pmWell, Secundusy Thoughts that lead to Alicey ones. Whenever I get into crossover territory, I start wanting to play dress-up with Alice. I keep wondering what she'd look like in new clothes. I mean, you gotta have the iconic dress at some point, but I like examining Victorian fashions, so. . . .
-TD: No urge to play dress-up with the boys?-
Oh, I get that urge sometimes. It's just a bit easier with you guys. Suits don't change all THAT much, and I know what I like on a guy. Alice is just a bit harder to pin down. And it's hard to find pictures of her in alternate dresses -- people tend to like redressing the Disney Alice, not the American McGee one.
-VD2: I'm sure you'll think of something.-
I already did have some thoughts, yeah. I've got a basic Victor outfit planned, and of course Part III provided me with a Doc outfit. Marty's pretty easy too, considering I've already Victorianized him for "Boy Genius." Alice, though. . . I kind of want her in purple at one point. I think she could pull off the right shade. And it's a change from blue and green.
-TTV: I'm -- cautiously interested in my alternate self's outfit.-
Oh, no worries. It's your basic black suit with a green tie and a yellow vest, long black coat, fingerless gloves, and goggles.
-TTV: Doesn't sound too bad. . .and green and yellow?-
*gringrin*
-TTV: *gringrins back, getting it* Thank you kindly.-
-D: *correctly interpreting the "huhs?" of the audience* It's a reference back to The Mask.-
Thank you, Doc. Now, I have a demo walkthrough of Alice to watch. I've never seen the demo in action before, really, so this should be new and interesting.
-HD: If they release a demo for this new game, will you play it?-
I might. Actually, I should, just to see if it's anything worth buying. You never know -- one gross teaser doesn't mean the whole game is ruined.Even if it does smack of "do what you did eleven years ago."
