More Stuff Happening Today

Cinder-Marty update, of course -- Chapter 9 Another short one -- the next one should be longer, though. How long, I don't know.

I also did some RPing, and got a couple of my characters LOLed by camera. Simon got turned invisible, Victor got deaged to 10, and Alice got aged up to 30. You can see the Inkwell aftermath here, if you so desire. I'm still figuring out what to do with them -- I have a vague idea for Alice, but Victor and Simon need some poking. Hmmm.

Mostly was another quiet day overall, though. I did get up to Ascension in "American McGee's Alice," though not without some trouble. It seemed to take me forever to do certain bits. Jabby kept both setting me on fire and knocking me over the edge of the arena in one certain spot in Royal Rage, and I had a bit of trouble getting past a certain ambush in Battle Royale. But all that's over now, and the keep is in sight! Depending on how I play it, I may finish the game either tomorrow or Tuesday.

I honestly don't know. But I'll find something to fill the time. On that note, I'm off to YouTube.

I put Hatter into that as well, but I haven't gotten a result yet! (What an awesome post! I really really do have to take him out more often. And to think I'm thinking of making Harley or Velma their own journals. D:)
Would it be okay if Hatter dropped into Inkwell after or would that be too weird? xD I didn't really want to drop in if I didn't ask first lol
I've enjoyed reading your RP over there though. Poor Alice and Victor... And Simon. But at least Simon doesn't have to feel like a pedophile or have memories he's "not supposed" to have. D:

I'm sure you will, it just might take a bit. (It is -- most of the LOLs are awesome. And I have to get my own gang out a bit more often too. Originally it was just going to be Victor and Alice in the LOL, but I was logged in as Simon to check dear_mun on his friendslist, and I realized he hadn't been out in a while. . . .)

After he gets camera'd, you mean? Actually, that might be pretty funny, especially given a couple of the options. . . (Any you're hoping for in particular?)

Haha all I know is that if something frantic happens to Hatter, he won't want to return to Wonderland and probably look for the people outside he trusts the most, which is probably Alice and her friends. Kid or Older Hatter would be funniest-- Kid!Hatter is probably a bit of a maniac and in my mind he stopped really aging around 30 (for whatever reason-- I still haven't figured out how aging works in Wonderland!) so anything older would shock him. xD

InvisiHatter is harder to work with, but it would give Simon company and Hatter would probably have about a dozen or so wacked out theories about getting that way.

Hehe, I see (and awww :)). Yeah, I think Kid!Hatter would be hilarious. And who knows how aging works in Wonderland? It's Wonderland! Though does Adventures In Wonderland Hatter still have an antagonistic relationship with Time? That could explain lack-of-aging. Hmmmm.

I'd have to think he's pretty attached to your Alice, being that he cares for his friends and he knows what happened to him in her Wonderland. Grim news indeed. So I guess he feels almost obligated to see how she is every now and then. =)

Oh! Perhaps!! I know in the series Hatter and Hare have confused Alice talking about backwards time ("No, that party is LAST week. Tomorrow's party is TODAY.") AND another minor character has even said, "Is it just me, or has that guy not aged a day in 30 years?!?" So his relationship with time very well could be the reason. xD

Here's hoping for kid!Hatter!

Ahhh, yeah, I'd forgotten he met up with her version of the Cheshire Cat on his first trip to the Nexus as well as her. Poor guy. *patpats him* Alice really does like seeing him -- it's always nice to see inhabitants from Wonderlands that didn't go dark.

Ahhh, cool! Sounds probable enough to me. XD (And backwards time, huh? Well, it makes sense, they ARE the only characters from the first book to show up in "Through The Looking Glass," where plenty of people mention backwards living.)

See, I always wondered why Cinderella was the ONLY PERSON whose foot fits the shoe. The whole being enchanted by the fairy godmother actually makes sense (and duh me for not thinking of it before).

Alice getting gray hairs at 30? Blasphemy! (so says the 27-year-old)

Edit: Hm...and the whole Victor/Alice thing now is making me think of AL and Tommy with those two episodes where the Rangers got de-aged to 10-year-olds.

Exactly! I'm actually using this story to hash out a few things that bugged me about the Cinderella story. Marty's blow-up at Clara when she first reveals herself, for example, is directly inspired by me wondering, "Why on earth does this fairy godmother character ONLY appear when it's time to visit the ball?"

LOL -- I might be pushing it a little, I agree. I just wasn't sure exactly how to make her look older.
