crossover_chickAnybody else having problems with the site? It's not DOWN, precisely, but the formatting's messed up for me. *grumble* As if Chester having a hung application that seemed to interfere with one of his updates wasn't enough. . . . I swear, that's the one thing I don't like about the Samsung and Windows 7. I've had the picture viewer freeze twice now, and the damn thing REFUSES TO CLOSE. I'll hit "close application" like five times, and it'll just sit there saying (Not Responding). Frustrating. . . .
In the realm of technology confusing me in a more pleasant way, my Sims playing today was spent making the McFlys. I kinda had to guess at Dave and Linda's faces, but I think I've got a good representation of the family for Inkwell Secundus. However, here's where the puzzlement comes in -- once they landed in the family bin, I happened to look at their family funds.
They got $31,000.
Not the first time this has happened, either. The Van Dorts of Twin Oaks Park got $30,000. Since every premade family I've made before has only had $20,000, and apparently certain Sims still get that (my Cheshire Cat, for example), I'm a bit puzzled. In a GOOD way, mind -- I certainly don't mind the extra cash. I'm just curious as to when this came about. Anyone a little Sim-savvier than me know? I think it has to do with Apartment Life, but I can't be sure since I never made a family when I had just FreeTime.
