Aha, Things I Forgot

First off, Linkara's 100th episode was fantastic. :D Sonic Live was utter dreck, and he ripped it apart. Then got pretty much all of Channel Awesome to sing his theme song in various pieces. :D The Nostalgia Critic's new Fuck-Ups list was good too. It's always nice to see someone willing to mock their own mistakes.

Secondly, more Sims business -- two more families in the game!


The Liddells! I did what I could, given that we only ever see her parents briefly in one photograph at the beginning of the game. This picture doesn't make it clear, but Alice is the Angriest Toddler Ever, thanks to her eyebrows. XD I also love how both Victor and Alice have to sit on the ground in their family pictures -- it's like no one cares enough to hold the toddlers.


My best attempt at making Mayhew for the Van Dorts -- I decided I did indeed want him. If only to spare Victor the horrors of a Nanny. (Yes, unemployed Nell would try to hire one.) His last name is Whitehouse after the actor who voiced him, Paul Whitehouse. (Who, incidentally, also played William.) I'll merge him with the Van Dorts once I get them moved in somewhere.

-VD: That just leaves Simon, Lucy, Steve & Gary, and Dee.-
Yup, it does. Steve & Gary will be the really easy ones, since I can just make up what they look like. Fun times!
-RPD: Still planning on updating them to the Inkwell?-
. . .yeah. . . .
-OD: *tentacles giggle knowingly* What is it?-
I -- kind of want to make an RP journal for these sims.
-RPM: I thought the whole point of making them Inkwell Sims was so you could update them to the Inkwell--
No. I want to make an RP journal. Role-Playing journal.
-RPM: . . .Wait, you mean -- like -- like clockwork_doc and deadgirlsliekme?! Nexus trips and that sort of thing?-
Yeah. It came to me one day while I was thinking of this Sim Victor getting into witchcraft, how funny it would be for him to ask the Nexus about it, then the other characters started getting into it and OH GOD I NEED HELP.
-RPD: *stares* I can't even tell what you're more addicted to now!-
I don't knoooooww!
-MF: . . . Would they speak in Simlish, or would the Nexus auto-translate?-
-DW: Don't encourage her!-
The only positive is that it's drowned out ButterflyBoy Victor's headvoice for now. But I'm sure he'll be back. After all, the hood I'm building IS "throw in the steampunk." What do you guys think? Am I just mad, or. . . .
-TTV: I'm fairly sure you're just mad.-
