crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (feeling sparky/creative)

As I have been in a "witch witch witch" mood lately, I decided to skip my usual simming (i.e., making families for Inkwell Secundus) and visit the Cordial sisters over in Belladonna Cove. I'd changed Samantha to a good witch on a previous playthrough -- today I made Kimberly into a bad witch. Or, more accurately, an Atrociously Evil witch thanks to me inadvertently changing her three times. You see, the action kept vanishing, and I hadn't realized that didn't mean it wasn't going to happen. . . . It's kind of awesome, though. If you want a full-alignment witch fast, just queue up the "Teach Me such and such" a couple of times.

Anyway, I got to play around with regents and spells, which was very fun. :D Benemoodus Simae will probably be a staple of my future Sim witches and warlocks. And the ones that affect the lot are AMAZING. Behold:

Corruptus Locus! The most awesome thunderstorm EVER! Too bad it also summons roaches.

Beautificus Locus! Nice sunshine, huh? I'd like to state this happens to be happening in the middle of the night!

God, I need to get witches in my other neighborhoods. *plots*

Oh, and I tracked down some info on why my new families are getting more money! IGN's guides informed me it breaks down like this now:
20,000 for a single adult/elder sim
+5,000 for each additional adult/elder
+3,000 for each teenager
+2,000 for each child
+1,000 for each toddler

Example: My Van Dorts consist of William, an adult; Nell, an adult; and Victor, a toddler. We get the standard 20,000 for William, plus 5,000 for Nell, plus 1,000 for Victor, resulting in 26,000. (Not enough to buy them the house I want them to have, but that's what either the "family funds" cheat or the "motherload" cheat is for.)

The one bad thing I encountered today -- the bookcase that doubles as a doorway doesn't seem to work. At least, the one in the Cordial house didn't. And I turned the room back there into their private witching den. . . . I have to figure this out -- the Van Dorts have one in their house too, and I want to use it as a secret room for Victor if he's lucky enough to get his warlock powers as a teen. (He's the one I want wearing the pointy hat the most, interestingly.)
-VD2: I'd wonder why, except that I'm certain you want more alien babies.-
And a Servo. Though I certainly won't say no to Doc learning magic. . . .
