Okay, Hit A Slight Snag
Sep. 29th, 2010 10:51 pmI went ahead and made the LJ for my Inkwell Secundus Sims:
ink_sec_sims It's still in the planning stages, if that wasn't obvious. In fact, you may notice that the account currently has no icons. This is partially because pretty much all my Sims pictures (the current ones, anyway) are on Chester.
"So what?" you say. "Hop on Chester and do 'em from there."
That's what my plan was: Boot up Chester, get some pictures, head over to EL Jay Icon Maker, and --
Oh, look. It's GONE.
Yes, my main tool for making LJ icons has vanished. Couple that with one of my favorite legacies getting an update and distracting me, and I didn't get a lot done.
The icon maker disappearing isn't too big a setback -- I can figure out how to crop most of the pictures effectively. My only problem is the journal's default -- I was planning on using one of the neighborhood shots, and now -- how exactly do you shrink one of those down to LJ icon size? (The only program I've used for editing is Paint, so -- yeah.)
Still, it's a start -- I've got a brief temporary bio up, at least. I can make myself a Doc icon and update on his first semester of Freshman year, at least. Probably do that tomorrow.
Not much else to say --
clockwork_doc finally got himself out into the Nexus, which is nice. Still working on my paper, still attending college -- you know, the usual sort of Wednesday. Though I did find some new stuff on That Guy With The Glasses -- Doug's doing the whole "make fun of horrible shorts" business! Look for "That Guy Riffs" -- I've only found three so far, but trust me, they're funny.
