Time Keeps On Slipping, Slipping, Slipping

crossover_chick. . .Maybe I shouldn't have used that for a title, now the song might get stuck in my head.
Anyway, it's a reference to my renewed Sims addiction -- I visited Inkwell Secundus, intending to quickly play the Van Dort household, do an update, and then hop on the old POS. I start around 3:40 (after futzing around with my cats paper some more -- gotta get that settled and printed for Friday, especially since I have new papers coming up the pipeline), intending to stop before 5 --
Next time I look up, it's 5:40. *facepalm* And I took 37 pictures to boot! Some of which will be weeded out before the update, yes, but how the hell--
-RPD: *amused* Completely forgotten how that game can suck up your time, huh?-
Yeah. But, well, who can resist this face?
-Jennifers: OMG he's so cuuuute!-
-TTV: *thoroughly embarrassed*-
I'm sorry, but you ARE adorable. Yes, folks, meet Sim Toddler!Victor (and Nell). He is adorable. He is also being raised without smart milk because nobody's wants are being properly fulfilled except his own, but he's still managed to learn to walk, and he's RIGHT on the verge of potty-training, so. . .
-TTV: Who taught me how to walk?-
Nell got the credit, but Mayhew did most of the heavy lifting. Everybody's taking turns with the potty training, and Will's started on the talking. Nell and William are actually being decent parents, which amazes me. And their welcome wagon was the entire Liddell household (minus toddler Alice), and everybody actually got along! Nell even has a want to be friends with Henry!
-TTV: . . .Maybe being Dean of Christ Church counts for something to her?-
Hmm, possibly. Oh, and guess what SimVictor's OTH is?
-TD: Science?-

-D: *amused* I think my simself and his simself need to switch One True Hobbies.-
Methinks so too.
Oh, and while I'm posting pics, here's the slightly revamped Darkness Falls that's available to the Inkwell Secundians:
I changed the number of the lights (now that I can see how wide a space they light while building, I realize that in most of my houses and community lots, I've gone WAY overboard), recolored some stuff (it took the developers HOW LONG to give us non-green bathroom stalls?!), added some vending machines for food, and some TVs and an arcade for fun. Also switched the DJ booth with the one that allows you to hold dance contests. I may have to make a lot where you can have food contests later.
-VD2: Having fun exploiting all the hobby stuff?-
I'm having fun exploiting everything I didn't get to play with before. This is probably how this game can suck two hours out of my life. Though at least I don't play it at school, like I saw one kid doing once. XD
And now, I have to get some final preparations ready for tomorrow. Busy day (though not as busy as the Corpse Bride anniversary -- God forbid)!
