Happy 2015 Day!
Oct. 21st, 2010 10:04 pmA day of futurey goodness! A day of hoverboards and flying cars! A day of tranqs, lobos, and zipheads! A day --
THAT IS ONLY FIVE YEARS OFF, THE HELL
Uh, anyway: Doc, Marty, and Jennifer arrive. Jennifer is promptly knocked out as the Bobs never intended for her to be in the sequels. Jennifer gets unconscious revenge by being picked up by the cops while Doc and Marty are changing future history. Marty stops his kid from getting into trouble with Tannens and instead causes the worst special effects shot in the BTTF trilogy. (I'm sorry, but the shot of the Pitbull flying off Griff's feet? It's ALWAYS looked completely fake to me.) Marty also buys the MacGuffin of the piece, the Sports Almanac. Doc and Marty reunite in time to see Jennifer taken off and to run into some plot-convenient traffic. Doc makes Marty leave the MacGuffin behind, but it's promptly picked up by old bitter Biff. While Jennifer gawks at how her and Marty's lives were ruined, Doc takes his sweet time rescuing Jennifer, and Marty wanders away from the DeLorean because of floating dog walkers, Biff steals the DeLorean and changes history. Jennifer meets herself, ends up unconscious again, and the gang returns to the DeLorean and heads back to what is now 1985-A. Biff cannot enjoy his victory, however, because he's either given himself a heart attack or erased himself from existence -- depends on whether you keep that deleted scene as canon or not.
Oh, and according to the BTTF Card Game, after Part III, Marty's Greatest Hits album goes platinum on that date. So that's good.
-M2: We can pack a hell of a lot of action into one afternoon, huh?-
Tell me about it. Must be something about having a time machine.
Anyway, not much to report -- played some of Inkwell Secundus Doc today. I'll finish off his second semester of Freshman year tomorrow and update in honor of Doc's birthday. I've also got a good start on the party post for tomorrow, which is nice. :) Now if only Secundus!Victor would be a little quieter. . . .
-D: Oh, go ahead and make him his journal. You've got at least some icons you can make. You can slide him in between my birthday and the start of the 1985 Days.-
Oh, I do plan to have him here before the end of the month.
-VD: So he'll be joining in on the Halloween party at least?-
*smile*
-VD: . . .What are you planning?-
*singsong* You'll seee
-VD2: Oh God.-
Nothing bad!
*suspicious looks all around*
I mean it!
-D: *quietly to his Marty* Just make sure she doesn't have any demon summoning books.-
