Another Updatey Sort of Day

On the LJ front, we visit the Von Brauns in revison_doc. They're doing well -- I turned one of the empty rooms upstairs into a room for hobby stuff. Practically everyone in this family is an Arts & Crafts geek, so I got them a pottery wheel and sewing machine. Also a train set for the lulz.

On the website front:
a) I've split Chapter 10 of "When Worlds Collide -- REALLY Collide" into Chapters 10 and 11. The stupid scroll bar remains on the new Chapter 10, but at least now it's just one right at the very bottom. (I seriously don't get what's too wide to fit in this chapter. o.O) Anyway, should make for a better reading experience (and more balanced chapters).
b) I've added Chapter 9 of "Secundus." It's on the slightly depressing side, but Chapter 10 will fix that quickly. We'll have a brief moment of "all the mains are happy, yayz" before the evil starts up in earnest.

Yeah. Hopefully I can keep it up during my time off. Just gotta get through tomorrow!
-RPD: And then, more stories and RPing?-
Yeah, I'll start paying attention to those who AREN'T 8butterflyboy8 again. I'm sorry, he's just the loudest right now. Though I did watch Tim Burton's Alice today, so that should help deadgirlsliekme and save_us_alice, at least.
-VD2: Got any particular plans over your break?-
Just some for the rest of December, right now:
-->Go see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I" with the folks
-->Buy Mom's Christmas gift (Dad's is all set)
-->Write Christmas and gift fics
-->Get Marty, Victor, Alice, Dee, Simon, and Steve & Gary out into the Nexus (I believe Doc's already has his posting)
-->Do some sort of post in either Victor or Alice's journal with Victor visiting Wonderland (I think I'll hold off on the King stuff until January, though)
-->Maybe do a bit of organization and a rough timeline for the Main Nexus 4 (basically, gather up all selfcesting done in journals and show how they intertwine)
-TD: Hmm. Sure you can get ALL your Nexus RP characters into the community?-
Well, I gotta get the Main 4 plus Dee into there. I'm kinda hoping for some sort of meme I can throw either Steve & Gary or Simon into.
-RPM: I believe everybody still has their fingers crossed for the vending machine.-
LOL, yeah, that would be nice to see again.
Anyway, I'll be off. One more day, one more day. . . .

Nice chapter, although I've got a couple more typos for you -

“Actually, it was just a few days ago, on the 31st of January,” Victor confessed. “Technically, we were supposed to be wed on the 27th, but then I came here and elected to stay rather than go back. . . .”

“Thank you. And it was very good to meet you, Miss Cartwell,” Victoria added, extending a hand for Emily to shake. “I hope to see you again too.”

(That last had me doing a double take as to who exactly was speaking!)

*checks the context* Actually, no, "well of" is the right one. What Victor (and I) meant is "People thinking 'he's not so bad?' That's new," essentially. It's his low self esteem again.

Actually, I was thinking at least one pup could share in the angstfest -- either Marty (just general sympathy) or Alice (on the opposite end of the loss scale). (Oooo, I am intrigued.)

(Clark is graduating from high school. The ceremony is interrupted by HUGE EPIC METEOR SHOWER take two, and in the midst of all this he needs to find the last two stones of power, which then merge with the third to create this big blue crystal that transports him to the arctic and becomes the fricking FORTRESS OF SOLITUDE. And this directly leads to him being human for a few weeks until he gets shot and dies.)
