Though I didn't do the wandering I normally do -- just a quick run around Newbury's before hitting Subway and the movies. Got an Emilie Autumn CD (I like her music and want some of it on my MP3 player) and a double feature DVD: both Addams Family movies. Both on sale, too. :D
-M: Don't you have Addams Family on VHS?-
Yeah, but the VHS portion of our VCR/DVD player is getting screwed up, so. . . . Besides, I get to see the theatrical trailers with the DVD version too.
-VM: That's it for special features?-
Yeah. Some companies like to skimp. >.<
As for Tangled -- I liked it. It's not a masterpiece, but it knows what it wants to do, and it does it very very well. I liked Rapunzel, I liked Flynn, I found it both funny and heartwarming -- it's Disney. :D Though some parts, like the bad guy bar, had a very Dreamworks feel to it. Not that that's a bad thing, if you do it right. (TV Tropes was kind enough to explain it to me -- apparently Tangled got its start back in the original Shrek era. Then it hit Development Hell.)
-VD: It was a very nice movie.-
Indeed. Though I think one of you and certain members of the RP crew were seeing things a little differently from the rest of us.
-Docs: O.o??-
*significant look at Tie-Twister Victor*
-TTV: *blushing despite himself* What? It was a nice movie--
Honey, I'm the one who gave you your fetishes. I can tell you had a thing for Rapunzel's hair.
-TTV: *deeper blush* . . .it was pretty. . . .-
-VuM: *amused* You like a chick with -- what was it -- 70 feet of hair?-
He's got a thing for long hair on girls. Trust me, it startled me as well when the movie wrapped up and I realized some of my boys apparently wanted to be in Flynn's position.
-TTV: *frownblush* I'm not into hair BONDAGE -- I, um -- I just like the feel of it in my fingers.-
-TD: *thoughtful* So hair you could wrap yourself up in. . . .-
-TTV: *embarrassed smile*-
See, hair bondage!
-TTV: *annoyed look*-
Well, it is, even if it's voluntary wrapping.
-M: Um -- so, is this where Emily's sorta got an advantage over Victoria?-
-TTV: <.< >.> Don't tell them, but -- yes, a bit. I'd love to take Victoria's hair out of that bun.-
Maybe someday, sweetie.
In other news, Butterfly Boy has an interesting post up at Charloft, if you'd like to get a sneak peek at my Christmas series this year. AND Telltale finally announced the release date of the first episode of the game -- December 22nd! BTTF.com has all the details -- and wallpapers! The middle one particularly intrigued me -- I just found something oddly familiar about Doc's outfit. Then, while chatting with Moose, it hit me --
It looks disturbingly similar to Billy's outfit at the end of "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog."
-VDM: Wait -- isn't that his Evil League of Evil suit?-
*nodnod*
-D: *facepalm* I don't WANT to turn evil. . . .-
We're not sure you are yet. And even if you do, it'll hardly be permanent. It'll all be fine.
-VD2: Tell that to our Telltale self.-
-HD: *flails* I thought games were supposed to be fun!-
For PLAYERS, not necessarily CHARACTERS. *points at "American McGee's Alice"*
-HD: . . . Fair enough.-
One final note -- I've got a cold. Bleck. Hopefully the worst will be over by Christmas. (It's really just occasional coughing/nose blowing, and an annoying gunky feeling at the back of my throat.)

Of the wallpapers, I think I found the second the most intriguing - In the films, we had kinda-weakish-proto-versions of Steampunk and Cyberpunk, now we get to see the Back to the Future take on Diesel-pulp! :-D

On a more serious note, I've recently been pondering what we've seen of the game so far, and wondered - could the game, from Doc's perspective, take place before the end of Part I? I mean, we see nothing of the Clara and the boys or the Jules Verne Train, and if Doc got in trouble while coming back from the post-2015 era, that also explains how he got the DeLorean back so fast - it's from before it got run over! (and struck by lighting again, and stuck in a cave for seventy years two months thirteen days, and . . . )

Hmmm, maybe! :D I'm all for that. (And, uh, Marty looks cute in his early 30s get-up. ^^;)

I dunno. When I saw the trailer, I'm pretty sure I saw him wearing his wedding ring.
