Sims: Vacation and Sims: Making Magic installed.
-D: So I can assume that the computer versions of me and Marty will soon be able to get outside the house for things other than our jobs?-
Correct-o -- once I start playing. But first, a question. I know Gigs has Sims, and I think Sheley does too. (Sorry K, I can never remember how to spell your first name *blush*) How exactly do I use the expansion packs with my old Sims package? I'd consult my instructions, but I somehow managed to lose the ones that went with Sims Deluxe.
Breakdown: I previously installed Sims Deluxe (Sims and Sims: Living Large in one go). Now I just installed Sims: Vacation and Sims: Making Magic. (Also, I might have Unleashed or Hot Date sometime in the near future.) So, how do those expansion packs work? All new neighborhoods? Will I have to copy my Doc/Marty/Jennifer skins?
Thanks in advance!

As long as your skins are in the Skins folder, you don't have to do anything. Just, after you install the packs, click or double click (whichever) on the new Sims icon.

What she said. I haven't played "The Sims" in more than a year. It was becoming hellishly addictive. Plus, I have a Mac, which meant I had additional challenges with the character sims.
