Cinco De Mayo? That's Today?

crossover_chickYeah, today means more to me as my last day of my Tuesday/Thursday classes than as a holiday for getting drunk and eating Mexican food. Red curse also arrived today -- though I guess better today than yesterday.
-D: Bit of a low day, then?-
Not really -- I'm all settled with my Philosophy class at the moment. My journal's all printed out, so it's just a matter of studying for the exam. With History, I've got the study guide, and I managed to get six pages on my second paper. Just a little editing and tweaking, and that should be all set as well. :)
-VD: Ah, that is good. How about stories?-
Editing "Secundus" -- I'm wondering about how to handle the "restaurant" part of Victor and Alice's date. From what I see, Victorians ate about 5 to 6 courses even when it was just a family dinner. I cannot put enough conversation over all that food! But it feels a bit off to have them just order the entrees and dessert. . . .
-TD: Add a soup -- wait, this takes place at The Roofless, right?-
Yeah.
-TD: . . .Forget what I said about soup.-
*snork* Flint wouldn't soak anybody, I promise. But yeah, adding a couple of courses feels like bloating an already-long chapter. Maybe I'll just stick with the more modern sensibility so I can finally put it up.
-VD2: Whatever works best for you. You'll have a lot more time for this sort of thing soon.-
I know. My last Psychology class is tomorrow -- no Math, she canceled the last day. Then Tuesday for my Philosophy and History finals, and then I'm out!
-M: Wait, huh? What about your other two classes?-
My Psych teacher lets you skip the final if you've gotten all As on the other tests, and my Math teacher's letting me skip her final on account of all As and perfect attendance. :P I'll take it!
-D: Lucky indeed! Just make sure to do well on your other two finals.-
I think I will, I know this stuff pretty well. And I intend to study from old tests and suchlike.
Anyway, not much else to say -- though I should mention I'm up to the first Looking-Glass Land level in Alice. Centipede was a peculiarly easy boss fight -- I didn't die once, and it didn't feel like it took any time at all to beat him. The Duchess was pretty simple too, actually, I only died and had to reload once. ??
-TTV: Well, you have played the game a few times by now.-
-OD: We also have to take into account that your last playthrough was on Hard. Going back to Medium would make things easier.-
This is true. And I'm perfectly happy on Medium, let me tell you. *wonders what levels of difficulty "Alice: Madness Returns" will have*
So yeah, that's my day. Now, back to whiling away the time until bed. :p
