crossover_chick: gif with Doc and Marty trying to get out of being written into twisted AUs (feeling sparky/creative)

I'm not going to link because there's a chance it may vanish, since EA might not appreciate the first ten minutes of game and gameplay being leaked. But if you search on YouTube under "Alice: Madness Returns" and sort by upload date, you should be able to find it. It's mostly Alice in London, with her psychiatrist and meeting up with various strange characters. Alice's new shrink is apparently named George Bumby.
And he is a DICK.
-M2: You know this from seeing him for what, two seconds?-
Trust me, you hear the way this guy talks, see him in action, and you're not going to like him either. Something about him rubs me completely the wrong way. The asylum/halfway house thing he runs (it appears he's in charge of the Houndsditch Home for Wayward Youth, which was mentioned by one of the guys during one of the Hatter's Domain demos) is a masterpiece of decrepit horribleness. Though apparently Alice tells stories to the other children about Wonderland, judging by some pictures you can investigate on the wall. Which is both so sad and so adorable. :)
I also found a video showing off some of the ideas for downloadable dresses you can get for the game. They look fairly awesome -- there's a Rabbit dress, a Hatter dress, a Cheshire dress, a Queen of Hearts dress, and a Chess dress! EA may not get me to buy the digital download version with the remastered Alice (I've heard too many horror stories about your online store from the Sims community, Electronic Arts), but I think I'll pony up the dough for at least the Hatter dress. :P
-D: Your obsession with playing dress-up with her would be disturbing if American McGee and his crew didn't share it.-
Worry about the fact that I'm trying to think up matching outfits for Victor.
-TTV: Wouldn't my counterpart to the Hatter dress just be Hatter's outfit?-
Maybe, but I think we can Victorize it a little. For one thing, you'd have a suit jacket.
In other Alice news, I dunno if I'm going to continue with OreWaUsopp's BabblePlay beyond today. The commentary remains fairly funny, but his technical glitches are getting out of hand. He completely skipped Rabbit's death, his video has gone mysteriously black at certain points, and his microphone volume gets iffy from video to video (and even sometimes IN videos). Bottom line, it's not all that fun anymore. :(
-HD: *patpat*-
-MHG: I suppose no one can hold up to your precious Helloween, hmm?-
Nah. :p I think I'll go back and give him another listen later. Incidentally, the word's come down from Telltale -- Episode 5 of the BTTF Game comes out in June. Watch it and Alice be released on the same day now. XD
-VuM: That would be weird, but considering all the other crossover shit you've found between our, Alice's, and Victor's canons. . . .-
I know. That still seriously freaks me out in spots, ya know. Frankly, some of the London characters from Alice wouldn't be all that out of place in Corpse Bride. . . .
Final note of the day: I have been evil and put Butterfly Boy in a "Nightmares" post. It hasn't gotten too far yet, but we'll see.
-TTV: *giving me SUCH a stink eye*-
Look, it's not as bad as it could be, considering it's just supposed to be a dream. I'll make it up to him.
-RPD: *also giving me a stink eye*-
. . .You act as if I haven't done horrible things to the others at the Inkwell. Hell, Butterfly Boy's had his share of angst even over in [livejournal.com profile] charloft!
-TTV: Yes, but -- I don't know, this seems a little meaner than normal.-
I promise you, he'll get something good afterward. Scout's honor -- and I can say that because I was a Brownie.
-MHG: You were a small tasty dessert? Does that mean you committed cannibalism earlier?-
Excuse me, this is probably gonna take a little explaining. . . .
