It's Finally Nice!

crossover_chickHence, mall trip tomorrow! Reports say partly cloudy and 72F, which works for me. :) It was nice enough for shorts today, hooray!
-VD: Looking forward to getting out of the house?-
I've just been dying to go up to Providence Place for a while now. And the rain has been a real downer, trust me.
-OD: Oh, we know, we know.-
The sunshine seems to have sparked my creative side, too -- I have a couple of things to share with you. First up, who wants Chapter 12 of "The Tale?" :D I've had it done for a bit now -- finally got around to editing and posting.
-DW: Amazing! Perhaps you WILL be done with these stories this century.-
-MF: I dunno, Doc, I saw her writing something new earlier.-
Just a oneshot inspired by that 19 minutes of footage we saw of the beginning of "Alice: Madness Returns."
-D: 19? I thought it was ten.-
Us English-speakers got ten. A German site got the 19. Rather frustrating not to be able to understand what anyone's saying, but the visuals are gorgeous. :D Anyway, I was inspired to write something about the Vorpal Blade based on one scene, so you might see that later.
Secondly, I have some families from Steampunk Gulch to show off -- one old, one new:
My Lewis Carroll Sim! I made him mostly to get a good headshot for the![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
secundus_cast journal, but hell, he might as well be played with the rest, right?
-RPM: He looks -- neater than I expected.-
Well, I described him when we first saw him as having his hair slicked back, so. . . *shrug*
Ponder Stibbons (left) and Arthur "Bursar" Dinwiddie (right)! They're collegiates. I know, it's pretty clear the Bursar is just Victor 2.0, but I did tweak bits of his face to make him look a little different.
-M: And added those thick glasses.-
*shrug* I kinda like 'em. My main goal with them, of course, is to get them to learn magic. Ponder will be a Physics major, while Artie will be Math (natch).
-TD: So, you've actually been kind of productive today.-
Indeed. I'm also almost finished with the brief character bios that will go insecundus_cast -- you know, a little like I did with 8docs_n_1victor. Opinions still appreciated on the Alice icon issue, incidentally. *points to the entry below* I'm thinking the second one, but confirmation that it's a good choice would be nice.
Okay, that's it for me for now -- gotta update some other pages on my Weebly site (just realized I forgot to add new chapter links to the info pages for "The Tale" and "Secundus" ^^;) and then maybe see if I can beat Mr. Bounce over on Miniclip. Later!
