And a new icon, you may notice. I figured my Sims updates here deserved one. :p Anyway, Emmett Victor Liddell ended up having a fairly busy second semester of Junior year, so let's get to it:

The first 24 hours weren't too exciting -- though Contessa Edith decided she wanted to get to know EVL better. Please note the time of day she called up him on the phone.

The mascot came in and cheered on EVL's attempts at making a Munchiebot. Emmett Victor studied with him and chatted a bit, but they really didn't make a connection.

Awww. He promptly rolled up wants to learn how to make this dish right. He's got three points in the Cuisine hobby as well -- I should really get him some more cooking skill.

As always, there's more reagent-making. One of these days he's going to advance past skill level one in warlockery.

The big event of Day 2? A mascot fight right in EVL's living room! While he was mixing up spell ingredients, both the llama and the cow showed up, and, well. . . I eventually got Emmett Victor to go to class like he was supposed to, and the llama won while he was away.

A completed steampunk Munchiebot! EVL will have no trouble setting up his robot store, that's for sure.

Day 3 sees EVL deciding to take advantage of the spring season's romance boost and go on a date with his lady love Felicia. Here's where we go to video for all the important parts:

Yup, EVL not only got engaged to Felicia, he also had his first woohoo with her! I always make my engaged Sims wait until they're married -- I wanted to mix things up for a change. Now, for things not shown in the video:

Double Trouble with the High Witches. I don't know why we have Julia as another High Witch, but you know what? I'm just going with it. Strangetown can be glitchy all it wants, and I don't care.

Basking in the glow of a Beautificus Locus. I love that spell so much. :D

Trouble on the horizon -- as soon as the Elder High Witch of Goodness leaves, the High Witch of Evil appears! This is why EVL and Felicia are inside, and why you can hear thunder when he proposes to her -- this lady promptly makes things icky outside again.

EVL's over the moon about being engaged, but Felicia would be happier if the weather would cooperate. Excuse her a moment. . . .

Felicia earns a poke for making the place pretty again. EVL comes out and comforts her with a kiss, don't worry. (And, of course, there's fun times very soon coming up. XD)

Strangest thing to do while waiting for the cab to take you and your date back to your place? Jump rope. Maybe he wanted to make sure his body would be in peak condition when Felicia saw it?

I love it when they have wants like this. :) And I like Felicia a lot too, she seems sweet.

Post-coital cuddling right before the date ends. They're cute together, though remind me to do something about Felicia's non-hat hairstyle. That look just doesn't work on her. And yes, I did buy EVL a double bed just for this. XD

Contessa Edith calls again as Felicia leaves after a (natch) dream date -- is she suddenly sunproof now? EVL is happy to tell her of the engagement, though.

More jump-rope -- he wanted to earn a skill point. *shrug* Though he stopped before he could pick up any body skill.

Sadie stops by for a visit, and gossips about the cow mascot losing a fight to a cheerleader. It just occurred to me she's probably mentioning the fight that EVL ignored while he was still in the dorm.

After going and getting another A+ on an exam and becoming a Senior, EVL unwinds by browsing the web for tinkering websites. This is actually a thought bubble I hadn't seen before -- I like it.

So yeah, EVL's engaged! Be happy for him! The next update will include some gardening shenanigans (I used some of his money to buy a couple of plots), along with me working on his magical skill. Funny -- he and Emmett Brown are both techno-wizards, but Emmett is more wizard while EVL is more techno. I gotta even these boys out.
