Victor/Alice Wedding Times

I'm commemorating the date as best I can without my own computer, which is better than I expected -- I posted the wedding drabble up on both 8butterflyboy8's LJ, charloft (as a bonus fic with the prompt of the day, "insomnia"), and on Victor Luvs Alice. For completeness's sake, we will crosspost here too:

Victor had always known Alice was beautiful. Her thin, graceful figure, long dark hair, soft pink lips, and especially her brilliant green eyes all added up to a lovely lady. No matter what dress she wore (or what condition it might end up in), she was always gorgeous.
But today, walking up the aisle with her uncle Charles, Alice was an absolute vision. Her wedding dress, with its brilliant white fabric embroidered with blue flowers and butterflies, fit her perfectly. Victor felt blessed to be able to see her like this.
It truly was the happiest day of his life.

-TTV: *smile* That's sweet.-
I hoped it would be. This is specifically "Secundus"-verse, given it was written for Butterfly Boy's prompt challenge, but it does sum up the thoughts of the other Victors on their wedding days as well.
-VD: Did you watch any Corpse Bride or Alice videos while you were downstairs?-
Yeah: the trailer for AMA, the "launch" trailer for A:MR, both trailers for CB, and a music video for each (because one grabbed my attention for AMA, and I decided to go ahead and keep the sides even). However, I had an annoyance today too -- I discovered I could not, in fact, watch Zero Punctuation.
-M2: *puzzled* Why not? Your dad wouldn't mind, I'm sure.-
No, he wouldn't -- but Yahtzee's DOING "Alice: Madness Returns!" And I don't want to risk getting spoiled! Argh!
-VD2: To be fair, don't you ALREADY know who the Big Bad is?-
Yes, but that doesn't preclude me from wanting the rest of the revelations to be a surprise. I've still got one "burning door" memory owed me, if I guess right. God, I wanna play. . . . *settles for updating VictorPlush's twitter*
-TD: The last e-mail you got from Best Buy said it was being repaired yesterday, right? Chester should be back soon.-
I hope so. TV Tropes is helping immensely in keeping my head on straight -- yes, I KNOW -- but I really won't feel comfortable until I have my laptop back. Hopefully the new fan will last longer than a goddamn year (if that is indeed the problem, but we all seem to be in agreement it was an overheating issue, so. . . .)
All right, I think I'll go read "By the Riverside" to mark the occasion. Later!

I haven't played Alice, but I've been reading your updates about it and watching a (very slow) playthrough on a YouTube channel I watch, and the Zero Punctuation review is entirely void of spoilers about Alice's family. Completely. So long as you know who the big bad is, it should be safe.
