Result of Late-Night Scan?

crossover_chickI shut down all other programs, have Kaspersky start scanning, AND get the idea to put my second fan so it's blowing air on the laptop.
It actually shuts down EARLIER this time (usually it gets to 30%, this time it didn't even get pas the "abnormally long 1%" stage). And I'd swear that when I felt the patch that usually heats up, it wasn't as hot as it usually gets.
Suddenly the "Kaspersky is being an ass" theory has some more credibility. I still need to test if "Alice: Madness Returns" will still trigger a blackout if Kaspersky is off, though. Stupid computer issues. . . .
