crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

I honestly think we broke some records. Got up to 101F down here today. Mom and I actually took a walk before it started getting really hot, and we were soaked to the skin with sweat afterwards. I actually spent the majority of the day off my computer because it was just too hot in my room (even with the fans going!) And it's supposed to be more of the same tomorrow -- gah. *quietly melts*

Samsung did get back to me, requesting more info. As some of it was a shipping address, I do believe the laptop will be taking a trip soon. We'll see what they say in our next e-mail volley.

Anyway, that's about it for today. There's really not much to say when it's so hot that you can't do much of anything except sweat. Oh, except that I watched Scott Pilgrim Vs The World with the first actor's commentary (Michael Cera (Scott), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Ramona), Ellen Wong (Knives), Jason Schwartzmann (Gideon), and I believe Brandon Routh (Todd), though he didn't say much). It was a weird commentary -- they kept getting distracted (somebody brought food at some point, and at the end of the movie they called a friend of theirs from the production crew). XD Still fun to listen to, though, and they DID comment on the movie (complaining how disgusting the fake snow was, talking about deleted scenes, discussing how cool/grueling certain fight sequences were, revealing how certain stunts were done (like putting in "nerf" stairs on Gideon's pyramid whenever someone had to fall down them). Also, poor Mary hurt her spine and needed surgery after the movie, ouch). At some point in the future I'll watch the second one. And maybe someday the technical commentary, though I tend to be less interested in those. It's fun to find out how stuff is made, of course, but I tend to pay better attention if it's contained in its own documentary.
