crossover_chick: Alice (Wonderland) looking kind of confused (AMA: WTFery?)
[personal profile] crossover_chick
I didn't discover until after I'd played Alice that there'd been an earthquake in Virgina and that basically we'd felt it too. O.o Weirdness! And now we've possibly got a hurricane hitting us on Sunday -- Irene's coming up the coast, and one of the predicted paths has it going over RI. Joy. (You know, I think this is TWICE that a hurricane's come along about the same time I have to consider getting my textbooks. At least we shouldn't have to drive in the rain this time.)
-HD: *eyeing the ground* We don't get earthquakes in Wonderland.-
Well, I doubt Wonderland has tectonic plates or whatever we call them these days, given it's all a dreamworld. You're probably built on clouds or something.
-WRM: Like the nice Vale in the beginning of Alice: Madness Returns? I like that idea.-
Me too. :D The very first Wonderland sequence in that game is the most gorgeous thing ever, seriously.
-D: How goes the battle, incidentally?-
Game still behaving itself. Occasional stuttering, but the Colossal Ruin didn't kill my computer this time, so I'd say things are much better than they were. (Maybe it helps that I turned down everything from the start.) I got that Radula room I missed the first time, and I do believe I've gotten all the bottles in the Vale of Doom. I just need two memories and a snout to finish it off, then it's off to the Mysterious East proper.
-TD: How about the writing? I know it's all [livejournal.com profile] 8butterflyboy8's drabbles, but how many do you have left?-
Wrote two today, two yesterday. . . *counts* I'm up to 87, if I count right. So 13. Not too shabby, eh? Though I should look up again when the contest ends, see if I need a little catching up.
-VD2: Think about doing one more tonight, just to be on the safe side.-
Yeah. I should really make it one with Doc and Marty, too -- Telltale's releasing their special edition discs!
-RPD: Oh, wonder -- wait, DISCS?-
Yup. Bastards have both a regular Collector's Edition (trailers, commentary tracks, concept art, all sorts of goodies), and a special DELUXE edition that comes with actual physical stuff (including the Trixie Trotter postcard. I am dead serious.). I get both at a reduced price since I bought the full season for download -- Collector's is just pay shipping, Deluxe adds 19.99 onto that. (Of course, Deluxe at full price is 44.99, I believe, so. . .)
-RPM: Gonna get Deluxe?-
Yeah, I'll probably bite. The extra stuff looks cool. And Art Asylum appears to be selling extra Alice minimates, so. . . . Why must you make me spend money, internet?
-D: *pats shoulder* You'll be all right. Just focus on finishing your stories and getting ready for school.-
Yeah, I know. At least it doesn't start until the Wednesday after next.
