I Am Such a Space Case Lately

-M: Wha -- how the hell did you get from My Little Pony to Silent -- somebody wrote a crossover, didn't they?-
Yup! A SERIES of crossovers. I read the first, starring Pinkie Pie. Who had to deal with a repressed memory problem that rather reminded me of Alice in some respects. Which is ironic, as I've seen plenty of fanart of an "Alice Pie. . . ."
Anyway! I've spent most of the day either on TV Tropes or reading My Little Pony fanfic -- not all evil Silent Hill crossovers, either. Most of the day was taken up by a long futurefic dealing with the gang adjusting to Spike growing up.
-D: *amused* You know. for someone who's only seen ONE episode on YouTube. . . .-
I plan to rectify that! I've found a channel with the episodes uploaded!

Nooot quite -- it would be Butterfly Boy going there, so I'm gonna make another Victor with glasses/goggles. Same wings, though, because he has to be a butterfly pegasus.
-TTV: *nods firmly* Hopefully the chance to fly will let him forgive you for turning him nonhuman.-

I've never played the Silent Hill games but I really really want to. They look very interesting and I'm all for creepy stuff. I love the music of the game- the music box theme from the second one, Room of Angel, Letter from the Lost Days (which is on my Victoria playlist since it kind of fits her telling her future self to stay strong and that we were put on this Earth to feel joy), ect.
I saw the Silent Hill movie as well which involves a rather eerie little girl named Alessa (she's in the games too but her backstory is slightly different from what I've heard) played by Jodelle Ferland who also played Lilith in another horror film (and favorite of mine) called Case 39. I can't help but make a Corpse Bride joke during the "Why Emily?" scene in the elevator. I'm tempted to make a Youtube video putting the audio of that scene to the scene in Corpse Bride where Victor and Emily are arguing (add some effects too to make it look like the room's shaking and stuff). Creepy!Victor at it's best. XD

I'm divided on them. On the one hand, I love the basic concept and reading up on them. On the other, they sound like exactly the sort of games that would give me nightmares out the wazoo. I've played Alice late at night (including the Dollhouse level), but -- *waggles hand* I dunno. Maybe I'll catch a Let's Play.

I'm hardly ever genuinely frightened by anything much (except for octopuses and squids *shudders* I'm sure Silent Hill doesn't have any of those-- I swear, I saw a picture of an actual octopus on my dash and I nearly had a heart attack).

I don't think tentacle monsters are typically part of the Silent Hill experience, no -- though I could be wrong. (It's bugs that get me, amusingly enough. I hate being crawled on. *shudder*)

I seeee. Victor being all scary for some reason really -- I don't know if I can "amuse," but it definitely holds my attention.
