crossover_chick: Doc snoozing on his couch (BTTF: exhausted)

Can't stay up to all hours on a school night.

Even if I am writing a really creepy nightmare sequence for the next Forgotten Vows plot on tumblr.
-TTV: *stinkeye*-
Look, he's getting a chance to personally complain to me, so don't you start.

On the plus side, FINALLY wrote up a "they found a house" post for [livejournal.com profile] clockwork_doc. I've been REALLY lazy on that. I'm going to blame it at least partially on LJ being stupid -- their new comment system didn't help matters, at any rate.

:)

And horrible, as it touches on things Bumby did to Victor. :( *hugs her poor traumatized muse* LOL, nothing wrong with that -- and trust me, your Victoria should be eternally grateful for having you as a mun. You're NICE to her.

Awww. :( *also gives a hug to your Victor muse* Thank you so much but you're not bad at all! Drama is an important part of the plot and I feel like mine (I don't have very many right now) fell a little flat and were much too happy and fluffy. Drama does make it more interesting, doesn't it? At least Victor will get a happy ending!

He needs a hug. He DESPERATELY needs a hug. I know drama is important and all, and this will be good to get out and help him get over his issues, but still. . .I can't help but feel bad sometimes. :( Even if it is all pretendy fun times.

I know. He does need a hug. But you see, the point of a story like this is that the hero (or sometimes the heroine) has to go through a lot of struggles in order to get what they want. In some stories, more struggles than usual which is okay. It adds a lot of depth to the character, in my honest opinion. You do feel bad for the character but you just have to know that in the end, it's all going to be worth it because the character will then have the ending they deserve after the battle and struggle. At least he has Alice there with him in the story so the hero (Victor) isn't completely on his own.

I know, I know. It's not a story without conflict and things to struggle against. And he is fortunate in that he isn't going through this alone. He's got one hell of a support system (which is a VERY good thing). It's just -- sometimes I feel like I put the poor guy through more shit than he deserves. *pats him*

I know how that can feel. I sort of feel the same way about my Alexei muse and all the angst he has to feel because of what happened to the rest of his family and how he hopes for another survivor to be out there but keeps getting disappointed when he hears of imposters. He does have a good support system too (Maria, his only living sister that he knows of). As I've said though, in the end, he'll find the rest of his family (It's AU based on both the animated film and real life events as if all of the siblings survived) and be happier.

Awww, poor Alexei. *pats him too* But you're right -- no matter what happens, there's a happy ending at the end of it all. I'm not really down with angst for angst's sake. It's just getting there that's the problem sometimes. . .

Don't feel bad. I know you don't RP angst for angst's sake. If too much angst is a problem, you could always try to tone it down a little bit in the future but still keep some since it is necessary to the plot.

I think we're coming to the light at the end of the tunnel here. He's had a horrible night so far, but both Dr. Wilson and Alice have told him he can beat this, and that's doing wonders for his confidence. (Even if he is still feeling horribly squicky thanks to his new memories.)
