Holy Crap, Look Who It Is

Emmett Victor Liddell! Remember him! Of course you do, I used to blather on about him endlessly. Well, he's back, and another one of his kids has entered a new life stage. So let's check in on him and his family, shall we?

Your average Monday morning at the house -- Felicia birdwatching, EVL doing some gardening. We're finally getting to grow some eggplants!

Folium Deletus -- useful and cool-looking. I do love Sim magic.

Even though his little girl is out of diapers, EVL can't get away from poop duty. And there's still one more kid to go before I'm done with them. . .

While Nell builds her skills, EVL makes a few more Eyes of Newt. Never know when you'll need them.

Delicious smart milk! Pair with the fall skill bonus and make my toddler an unstoppable skilling machine!

But first, EVL and his new kid make best friends. Aww.

Nell's first words prove to be "bottle" and "daddy." I think that's appropriate.

With Learn To Talk taken care of, Nell has officially learned all the toddler skills. We may now spend the rest of her toddler time getting her regular skills up.

The ladies of the house around the house -- Felicia catches bugs, Lorina goes for a 9 in Logic.

Cuteness between Felicia and EVL. I'm very happy they found each other.

EVL: Hi Tom! Don't mind the sparkles around Felicia, I just upped her mood through magic.
Because it's important she not collapse before. . .

Lorina's birthday! Yes, Lorina becomes a teen today! Rejoice, all and sundry!

I hope she appreciates that cake -- thanks to how long she took getting that Logic point, she almost didn't get it. Good thing the game gives you a grace period of an hour to get one on grow-up day. (Most days Sims age a day at 6 PM -- on grow-up days you get until 7.)

Meet teenager Lorina! Not a bad face, am I right? She's pretty cute. (Which means Nell will be too -- silly clone children. Ah well, different hairstyles and different levels of encouragement make all the difference. . .) Lorina's Aspirations are Knowledge/Popularity, and her LTW is Become Games Designer. Since her OTH is Games, this fits nicely. Her turn-ons are fitness and athleticism, and her turn-off is fatness.

I love how she seems to be looking at the memory icon -- "What's this thing?" Her friend Camryn is probably doing the same -- for the first time, I aged up a townie child friend. Rather weird, but hey. Now Camryn won't have to be a kid forever.

Now that the excitement's over, EVL heads outside to get in some fishing time before the lake freezes and stops him from earning badge points.

While Lorina tunes the piano in anticipation of getting her Creativity up a bit. Gotta start working toward scholarships now!

EVL makes one catch during his fishing time -- a bass. Hey, it's something.

Felicia, meanwhile, entertains the toddler. They're such a happy family. . .

Lorina earns herself another Creativity point via piano. Good for her.

Tom, meanwhile, I'm having do loads of random stuff just to get his Aspiration up. Most of his wants are low-scoring or hard to fulfill at the moment, so he's spending a lot of time in low green. Poor Tom Servo. . .

Still, guy makes good toys, gotta give him that. One of these days I'll get him another badge level!

For now, though, we'll end on Nell getting herself more Charisma. Toddlers are so cute -- if kind of tiring. And like I said, we'll be going through all this one more time before they're through with kids. . .
Hope you enjoyed that! Felt good to get back to that family. And yes, I know EVL didn't visit his shop today. I'll get on that next time I play them -- I do want to unlock more families in that hood. Maybe I can time it so the Unseen University wizards go to college at the same time as Lorina. . .
